Mortal Kombat: Armageddon

The game got released yesterday in the stores, I wonder if anyone got it? I'm curious on how it is, Heard so much stuff about this game in terms of it having every single characters from all the MK games, On top of that, You can create a fighter and create your own special moves and fatalities.

Mortal Kombat has been everything but a good fighter game.

+1 . I like MK4 on Playstation though. Smooth and extremely fast..

Personally I hate the new fatality system. Motor Kombat is fun though.

Yeah, the fatality system is weak now. Mortal Kombat has always been about the character specific fatalities and suddenly they've done away with that.

I've been a fan of MK since day 1, I was out on "Mortal Monday" to pick up my copy of MK on the Genesis back when I was a little kid. This MK could have been a lot better for sure, but it is nice to have the entire cast of characters playable.

Got it on Xbox. Anyone having the 720p issue? Thousands of us are. Looks like Midway's QA department fucked up bigtime releasing this game like that. If you don't know, MK:A runs in 720p but on thousands of people's TVs including my own, the screen is completely distorted with pink lines and all messed up looking. You must disable 720p if you want to play the game. Midway said they are aware of the issue. Maybe we'll see a new disc release like what happened with MK4 on the Dreamcast.

What was wrong with MK4 on the DC?

I don't think the PS2 version has options for HD settings, so I couldn't tell you if there is a problem.

It would be nice to have HD settings though, since I do have an HDTV.
