that seemed pretty common knowledge... there wasn't much there that most people shouldn't already know.

Posted by DMUZIK on Oct-12-2006 03:15:

ya thought so too ......

but who knows maybe someone will think twice before getting something ridiculous from being tattooed on them.

I think the people who get stupid tattoos deserve to have them on them forever. lol. Stupid tattoos let me know when I'm in the company of idiots.

I'm a big fan of Dawinism... this is just one smaller step in making sure they can find each other and leave the intellegent ones to breed amongst themselves.
Now, that said, I am a fan of well thought out tattoos that are done well.

I'm a big advocate of stick on tattoos, I had the sickest dragon one time, it was all green with wings and flames and shit. It was awesome!

How was that interesting or informative.

It meandered on like an after-school special.

Nothing new, groundbreaking, or even relatively informative.

true. you're 'A' ok in my books. Hell if I had an extra set of feet I would likely get something similar done too.

Know any places where one could get those?

Posted by DiskoBiskit on Oct-12-2006 16:45:

i had 2 tattoos done when I was 17. Crappy cheesy dolphin on my right hip (as I loved Miami Dolphins... and anything Dolphiny) and a butterfly on my right foot.

tacky I know. They cost a total of $35. small, girly ones. Then I realised I actually got a buzz (excuse pun) from getting them done and went back and got scenery for Dolphin (palm tree, sunset.. lol)

then 6 months later realised how fucking trashy they were. Started process of removal. Lazer treatment. OH MY FUCKING GOD, IT HURT!!!

Hurts 10 times more than tattoo itself and the lazer literally pops open your skin and i was spattered with blood. Smelled like burned hair as it hit my skin, felt like someone whipping my hip with a towel repeatedly (x 100) then it blisters up and fills with blood.

18 sessions later and over 1,500 POUNDS - the butterfly has gone. The remnants of the dolphin are still there. it now looks like a bruise, with fine white scars from the outline of the dolphin.

Ask yourself before you get a tattoo - will I like this in 30 years time? because I hated mine in 6 months. You wont be wearing the same clothes 10 years from now, or have the same tastes. So why get something permanent on your skin. They look good on rockstars / sexgod actors only.. not Mr Average

Tattoo's are cool and you know it

Posted by DiskoBiskit on Oct-12-2006 18:21:

good ones are, on hot men,, with nice bods, who are trendy

girly animal ones are not.

think about all the twats who got barbed wire 10 years ago... fashion faux pas.

the design ages... its like my Grandad and all the old 70 year olds walking around with swallow birds and anchors on their forearms. they look good for about 5 years...

True enough i was talking to my roomate about tatto fads...like the barbed wire and the thousands of chicks who got tattoed just above their arses...I've got a pretty big back piece covering the top half of my back...and i'm going in next thursday to finish it...I miss the needle. It is very addictive

yeah - why is the pain of the needle addictive? I dont get that... seriously... I got a huge buzz from it.

Posted by English Rachel on Oct-12-2006 19:41:

I have 2, I have had them for 6-7 years and I still love them. I get compliments all the time because I thought about what I wanted and what would be attractive and classy for a long time.

I also thought about what I could cover...

Anyone seen them? What do you think?

I don't know...when i'm in the chair im like "What the fuck am i doing here? Y am i getting this done?"
But then the satisfaction of seeing a piece of art on your body for the rest of your life makes it addicting i guess.
