New Setup advice

Hey ppl,
I'm treating myself to my first set of decks and Id like some advice on the stuff i've been thinking of buying.

Im not completely to djing, i started trying it out about 2 years ago on my friends CDJ 1000s and a DJM 600. About a 9 months ago i borrowed a vestax turntable setup with a PMC 05 mixer off a different mate and properly got into it, learnt to beatmatch and mix better (until then i hadnt really had the chance to practice). I'm not a noob but Im still sort of beginnerish. I wana try out some scratching cos i think its worth knowing a bit, but I'm sure i'm predominantly gona be a 'mixing' dj.

I'm planning on spending between 700 - 800 pounds (UK) and the packages seem the best option.
These are the decks i thought were a good deal. I've been researching for a while and it looks decent:

My only issue is I'm unfamiliar with the mixer and ther aren't many reviews i can find on it (i think i found 2?). I know its a fairly decent mixer for the price but are the X-faders good enough to try a bit of scratching on? I don't wana wear them out cos I'm not planning to buy another mixer for a while after i buy this setup and I'm still gona be predominantly a 'mixing' dj.

here are the rest of the deals on that site:

If anyone thinks any of the other deals would be better for me please say. (eg mayb the one with teh DJM 300? or the PVC 275?)

Any help much appreciated, (sorry if this is innappropriate but i dunt wana screw up buying somethin like this)

i dunno.. i think packages are a ripoff. i always got my stuff from ebay, but now i shop at agiprodj.com. i always found it cheaper to build my own setup, and it's more enjoyable because you can pick and choose what you want in the setup.

If you get that package, be sure to put some coin away for some headphones. Since it doesn't say what headphone you'er getting, it will most likely be a crappy one that will fall apart on you. Also, if you plan to do some mixing, you might get annoyed with that zero click quartz lock on the pitch slider.

I definately think you should just assemble your own setup instead, in the long run, it will save you more money.
