-- Migraines.

Migraines.

Does anyone else get 'em? I get a monster once or twice a week. I have one right now. Ive felt it coming on all day - I got really tired and felt this pressure building up in my brain, and then just a half hour ago it came on.

Ugh.

So I take some Excedrin and go on with my life, but they last for HOURS. I dont know what to do about it.

I used to suffer from bad headaches until a few years ago. It used to be like hell.

But somehow things got better and now I hardly get any.

So you can pretty much hope that some day ur migraines will also go away.

If you've been getting them consistantly, I'd advise you to see your doctor.

Subpsychoactive doses of LSA are reputed to help migraines.

I used to get them, but only one every couple of months. I have never heard of anyone getting migraines weekly. You need to see a doctor asap because that is definitely not normal.

Also, you doctor can give you prescription medication which works so much better than excedrin, which is nothing better than glorified tylenol.

Don't take this the wrong way...but do you have large breasts? I know that women with large breats are prone to getting migraine headaches. My bf's little sister gets them quite often.

I've only had a migraine headache twice. Not fun. Sorry for your pain.

I think they've been linked to certain foods in some people. You should find out if u have any food allergies (I think wheat is a common one). And even if you dont I think there are a bunch of things you can avoid, that bring on migraines in some people (red wine was one).

Yeah, I need to see a doctor because theyll probably do an allergy test and give me a prescription. The only problem with an Rx, though is that they knock you out and Im on a busy schedule in grad school. I dont really have time to be laid out on the sofa for hours at a time. Still, though, Im going to make an appt.

Maybe it's the strain on your back?... You could be wearing the wrong type of bra...Maybe you should see a brassiere specialist.

All of a sudden this is getting a little too personal...

I've had them for years..

I get 30 minutes of completely blurry vision.. that goes away and then massive pain sets in.

Ask a doctor to give you Fioricet..

It's a mix of Butalbitol (barbiturate)/caffeine/tylenol.

It's the only scrip drug I've found that works.. and man.. it works well.

My doc gave me that after Imitrex and some other triptan drug failed to do anything.

Ah a migraine. I remember I got one in high school. While watching a video all of a sudden I had blind spot that started growing. I asked the teacher if I could go to the health room, and as I was leaving the class room I threw up right in front of the Vice Principal. Then again in the stair well.

One of my co-workers called an ambulance when she got a migraine lol.
