so i went to the geisha house in hollywood again

i had a great time but some people piss me off. the bill came out to like 700ish for a group of 15, including food and drinks. when it came to pay for the bill all the fucking headache started. people started penny pinching saying they only wanted to put in the bare minimum. whatevers, thats fine. we collect the money and we only have like 500. we try to figure out why the hell it came out so short. the drunk people in the group are off in teh corner having fun blah blah blah, not giving a shit about the money situation. i didnt have one drink, just the black cod ($16) and a side of rice ($3). you figure with tax and tip 40 bucks from my end would be cool right? well all in all i walk away spending 100 bucks total out of my fucking pocket for what should have been a 40 dollar meal tops. ugh, sorry i had to fucking rant. drunk people + money = failure

its a restaurant so not really 21+, but it was for my friends 21 bday and they didnt card any of us at all

the food is mediocore but i like the enviorment. if we go back the only best way to do it is to get your drinks at the bar and no alcky on the bill. just food.

honestly if your really willing to drop like ur doin at geisha house you might as well try BlowFish on sunset...its a hair away from being ridiculusly overpriced, but yah ur paying what ur getting for....probably the best sushi bar in LA imho....

been there and the food is goooooooooooooood! all i remember was i threw up the food later that night =/ my 20th birthday was hardly remembered

when i'm in a situation like that i always try to get everyone to agree to split the bill evenly....some people will come out a bit ahead and others put in a bit more than their 'fair' share, but it takes the problem out of not collecting enough $.

How you end up short is people forget to pay tax and TIP.. and if u got some drunk asses .. then they order more booze than they realize.

ALSO, I know sometimes depending on the waiter or waitress if you're a big party.. they put crap on your bill thinking that you won't notice..

Best thing to do, make 2 people the accountants ( I know its a pain in the butt but at least its easier on the wallet).

Each individual person goes up and tells the person what they ordered and that person will figure it out for them. None of this pass the bill around and everyone puts down the $$.
