Reaktor ensemble - Nemo version 2.0
Here it is, I actually finished it 6 weeks ago, but never had the time to post it. Quite a few people downloaded and liked Nemo 1.1, so I hope you'll like this version even better.
The synth was originally built with dance music and trance in mind, and does perform very well under those circumstances, but the added modulation capabilities make it very effective for the creation of evolving atmospheres, pads and ambiences.
There are way too many new features in this version to compare to 1.1, but here's a quick list of features:
- 4 oscillators with sync
- Oscs. 1&3 with AM/FM (altough somewhat limited, more on that later)
- Oscs. 2&4 with sub-oscillators
- Multi-mode, 5 detuned waves, independent for each osc.
- Multi-mode filters with saturation
- 4 LFOs, syncable to tempo and gate, with FM modulation abilities
- 4 mod. envelopes, 2 filter envelopes and volume envelope, all AHDSR
- 4 step sequencer tracks, syncable to tempo and gate
- Equalizer, Delay and Reverb effects
- 4 Macro controllers, assignable to multiple mod. destinations
- very capable modulation routing system
Some possible changes that may occur in the future:
- All 4 step sequencer tracks are driven by the same low frequency osc, this may be changed so that each track gets it's own driver (allowing different tempos)
- AM and FM does not work "correctly" in multi mode. This is because multi mode is independent to each osc. If using and oscillator to modulate an osc. in multi-mode, all waves are modulated with the same wave, at the same frequency, and this creates in harmonic offset, so strange non-harmonic frequencies are generated. This does not necessarily mean the sound is bad!

- GUI is over 1000 pixels wide... maybe I'll try to redesign it so that it fits smaller monitors (but it's kinda hard since there are just sooo many knobs
)

I'll try to keep the links updated, but if they do not respond, don't hesitate to PM me!
I hope you'll like it!

Thanks for this, I quite like 1.1, always use it for my mid basses / leads and stuff. All the best.

Thank you all. Well, it is a different kind of monster compared to 1.1, which was made to be fast and easy to work with, version 2 was meant to be a more all-in-one wonder which could serve as my go-to synth.
