alright i was gonna answer this earlier, but my comp went on the fritz...

anyways its a noun - its frontier jibberish. long story short, my friends and i smoke TOO MUCH pot and rather than saying 'could you please hand me one of those?' we simply yell 'gimmeoneofemshiats!' an overr simplified give me some of that shit. shiat is derived from shit, and ANYTHING can be 'a shit' if you consider it a universal noun...it sounds really good when you are baked, so hopefully you are.........oh and frontier jibberish is our grammarless english successor that uses expletives like punctuation.

useful phrase: lemmegetallupinoutsideofemshiats, the extended forrmal version of the above/
