Need Advice
Hey everyone. Just need a little advice. I'm selling some dj equipment but have yet to get any intrest. Just want to know if i'm asking to much.
2 vestax pdx 2000 decks(with new 520 needles,and slipmats)
a numark dxm06 mixer (4 months old)
and around 840 records for $2000.
Thanks
are the records happy hardcore?
Nah. Sorry. They are mostly prog and tribal.
wow I would say that's a pretty good deal with all that included!
craigslist here we come!
www.craigslist.ca
Oh yah,i'm also throwing in a Numark dm3002x three channel mixer for free.
can I buy some of the records?
Here's the thing. I really need to sell everything together. I need the money, and i just don't have time to sell things seperate. I'm really sorry.
ok....
well here's the thing, I already gots the equipment and I thought I would ask!

Cool. If i can't sell everything together,i'll let you know. Fair?
selling the whole thing together won't be easy if people don't share your exact style of musical taste. I'd split the gear from the records.
offer bulk discounts on the records for the more you buy.
Used records are nearly worthless.
Expect at the most $5 per record - and half of what you own won't ever sell.
Yours truly...

okay. what if i said 1000 for all the records. and 1000 for the gear. do you think they would sell faster that way?
wishful thinking i guess.
I thought $1000 for 800 plus records is pretty good. I know that not all of them are the best, but still good to add to a collection.
If you're really motivated to get the most for your records, catalogue them and upload them into eBay (for sale via the "buy it now" option [eBay has a bulk auction creator software]) or some other electronic marketplace where people can buy them a-la-carte (usually $8 to $12 depending on condition).
Sell 100 records that way and you've made as much as you're asking for all 800.
I would go that route - however be warned: shipping vinyl can be like shipping egg shells. Buy some shipping boxes from Release and -always- pay for shipping insurance.

Yah i know. I'm a little bored. But if they are going to sell,T.A will be the place i'm sure.
try tribe.ca in the buy and sell forums too. and then for TA use the sellers forum.
TRIBE won't accept new members. Plus something about my email. I think it's the hardest site to join. If you want to post it for me,that would be cool.

i would so toatly take that off your hands if i had that much spare cash laying around .... cuz since i'm moving in 2 weeks i won't have my roommates equipment anymore to practice on
If you know someone that wants all this quality gear and records, give me a shout.
