Brian Eno
Any other Brian Eno fans here? One of the real founding fathers of EDM and hugely influential in ambient music....
My favourite Eno track - An Ending (Ascent)
Yeah the "The Plateaux of Mirror" and " Apollo Atmospheres & Soundtracks" albums is simply fantastic... without a doubt the best two albums I have.
Yeah love Eno. Got Plateaux of mirrors, Music for airports, Music for films and The Pearl (recorded with Harold Budd).
Haven't got as many as I want but I'm working on it.
could of put the whole song up.i was enjoying listening to it
How is he a founding father of edm?
Ambient 1 is probably the best ambient album ever.
He's the man! Go check out Thomas Newman if you're into this kind of music.
great producer
especially when i found out he co-produced a lot of wonderful u2-songs

This video only made me believe he was the founding father of the Playstation 3.
Yea, that tune is simply amazing!! Leamma & Moor mix kicked some a$$ too. Brian Eno FTW!!!

i originally heard brian eni - an ending (ascent) in the horror movie 28 days later.
it wasnt until i listened to the soundtrack that i was able to identify the track and the fact that i liked it.
finally, i heard the leamma & moor remix on the introduction to above & beyond's essential mix live set.
i have the exact file name with date of the mix at home.
its the intro mix and during it, jonathan grant, paavo siljamaki, and tony mcguinness are answering pre-asked questions about life and people in general.
the dialogue in no way hinders the tunes perfection.
it actually makes a better effect somehow.
i put this track on a waterproof mp3 player that i use when im out on my jet ski.
flying on the water at 50+ mph passing huge ocean liners at port with air rushing past you, with this track blarring in your ears, is fucking great.
this tune is, by far, in my top 10 favorite tracks ever.
everyone always talks about how cool brian eno is...but i wonder how many people would really like his music if they heard anything other than An Ending (Ascent)...
i mean i like that song too, but a lot of his other stuff doesn't really appeal to me because a lot of it isn't ambient...

Eno practically invented ambient.
