-- delay panning ???
delay panning ???
hi,
what type of vst delay would pan a crash from left to right as it fades away???
you would hear it in most trance tracks....
Isn't that just your regular ping-pong delay?
Most delays should have that option. Have a look at the free Classic Delay from Kjaerhus:

Hell, most internal delay plugins can do that, I'd think. Simple ping-pong delay. It tends to abbreviated as PP, Ping or Pong. Look for it on your delay unit of choice, and if it's not there, throw that unit out and get the Kjaerhus plugin, at least.
mostly use cubase double delay, but have waves super tap, it has a preset for ping pong delay....
super tap seemed complex to me so never really use it....
the thing that gets me with it is when u set it for a long delay and then when hitting play it misses the first few notes b4 it starts to delay the sound!! couldnt correct that so never used it!! ideas??
thanks, j
Look for an option like plugin delay compensation maybe.

ping pong goies from side to side....he said pans as it fades away....like a delay on the left and as it fades goes over to the right. Ive heard it on a few tracks...but not many do that......youd just automate the delay i'd think....most track use ping ping or something simialr for leads

use the waves bundle super tap 2 or 6
so you can set your delay in the righ and the left.
