I am going to CUT my hair!!!

I am setting up a paypal account for your donations now, and I encourage you to donate- This has been something I had been toying with for a long time, and it looks like my hair is long enough to be useful in the making of a wig!

During a time when children find themselves struggling with painful and difficult medical conditions, losing their hair can have a devastating effect on their self-esteem and confidence.

Angel Hair for Kids provides human hair wigs for children from financially disadvantaged families who have lost their hair as a result of Alopecia, burns and scalp injuries and chemotherapy and radiation treatments for cancer.

Angel Hair For Kids does not manufacture the wigs directly. Although we have special relationships with external wig manufacturers who supply their services to Angel Hair For Kids at a nominal fee, A Child�s Voice Foundation must use its funds to have each wig manufactured. Once created, each wig is fitted and styled for a specific child and given to them at no cost to their family.

At any given time, Angel Hair for Kids has between 5 and 10 applications waiting to be processed and the demand is increasing. These requests come primarily from Sick Children�s Hospitals, the Canadian Cancer Society and social workers in the community.

To make a human hair wig requires at least 12 donations of untreated hair, as well as funds for materials and manufacturing to turn the hair into children�s wigs.

Lol- i was goin to put some pics in here, but they are all of kids in wigs, and I'd rather just not go there.

Hell yeah people! It's for a good cause! I know quite a few people who have needed wigs and its super expensive to get a good one! My mom volunteered at the MD Anderson Cancer Institute in Houston for a long time and she came across so many families who couldn't afford wigs for their kids.

NO ONE WANTS TO BE LIKE IGK. SAVE TEH CHILLUNS!
