Charlie May vs. Sasha - Seal Clubbing [Renaissance]

A1 Original Mix (AKA Sasha Mix on Seaman's Masters Mixcd)
B1 Zabiela's Seal Squeel Remix

Releasedate: 6th November 2006

the original was a cool piece of music, i don't remember who here on ta said it, "it sounds like wavy gravy on acid" is pretty much the best explanation. i dunno much about zabiela's mix, samples haven't been released yet i think.

also, however does these covers for rennaissance is a genius.

It's bound to sound like Wavy Gravy and anything from Airdrawndagger as its something that didn't get used from the recording sessions.

There are samples over on the Renaissance website - http://www.renaissanceuk.com/

Omg samples sound awesome. The synth sounds really cool isolated in the Zabiela clip.

lol @ Sasha vs. Charlie May

Looks cool though...I think this was the most interesting track on Seaman's comp.

Zabiela's version is fairly interesting, and I do like the original. I'd have to hear them in full before giving a final rating, though.

Maybe since he realized that Charlie has done all of the work on just about every "Sasha" production ever released, and it's about time he gets some straight up credit instead of it being the industries worst kept dirty little secret....

Or this is another Charlie May track with Sasha's name getting added later.

Tolfrey and Sylvester's Drama Queen Mix is good but j. zabs mix is the win!

thats exactly what i was trying to hint at, and i dont believe its a dirty secret. its a well known fact charlie may co-produces everything with sasha, id be curious to know why though...the money or the music..

It's called Charlie May Vs Sasha because of Sasha's deal with BMG.

Can't Wait!

Looking forward to hearing the full Zabiela version after hearing the sample.

I personally thought the original was pretty much as bland as the rest of Seamans' last renaissance disc. However, as I only listened to the disc twice, I'll wait to hear the full release to really offer up any thoughts.

zabiela mix is kinda weak imho

expected more from zabs

Sure he's never been directly named on a vinyl / CD cover. But if you read the credits he's always named. Written, arranged and produced by 'A.Coe & C.May'.

B.Jamieson (of Evolution) is usually involved somewhere in Sasha productions too.
