Gilbert Arenas is sick... thats all I know... and I always thought he'd never make it in the nba.... and he's proven me SO wrong over the last 3 years.... so... I don't know what i'm trying to say...

but I'll never root for the Wiz...

i thought the same about Dajuan Wagner, and look how he ended up.
i thought stephen jackson wouldn't make it to the big time after this poor play with the spurs, and his career would be short, but look at him playing an important role in the Pacers franchise right now.

my dark horse pick of the year is the Houston Rockets. They have played poorly the past couple of years, due to injury. This year is the year when Yao dominates everyone. He was on fire during the last couple of weeks last season, and i think he is going to continue the trend.

NBA Champs - Spurs
Underachievers - Pistons or Heat
Suprises - Houston, Orlando and Chicago

I think the East will change drastically. Chicago with Wallace now and some of the younger teams (Bucks, Raptors, Magic) will finally come around. Shitty year for the Knicks I think either the Pistons or Heat will choke big time.

6th Man - Gerald Green (Celtics)
MVP - Ben Wallace (Bulls)
Rookie Of The Year - Andrea Bargnani or Thabo Sefolosha
Most Improved - Darko Milicic
#1 Pick - Knicks

lol...ass...

Duncan is the man...

but I've never liked the team... the whole shitty logo, and crappy colors...

and... umm... the fact that they're a TEXAS team...

no love for the Spurs!

I bet you if Brady played for the Spurs, you would love them.

Spurs are very blah, just a boring ass team. I can't recall but I'm pretty sure Duncan was part of Wizard of Oz and he was in search of a personality. Their colors annoy me as well. They've already won 2 championships, time for some new blood please.

I'd love to see the Suns in the Finals, their brand of ball is much, much more entertaining as a third party viewer. Even though Nash looks like a scarecrow. Amare looks shaky with his knee still, that usually takes a full year to recover and be close to normal.

The only think I'm looking for out of my team is more ping pong balls for the Greg Oden sweepstakes.

I really hope the Knicks keep Isiah, he is just too much comedy.

Posted by InterMilan31 on Oct-22-2006 05:05:

I was on the Suns bandwagon last year....until Amare came back and couldnt recover from the injury..............penny hardaway syndrome

Posted by PhaseFour on Oct-22-2006 05:16:

the west from positions 5-8 are STACKED, with hou/minny/NOK/jazz/maybe gsw lookin for that last playoff spot. I also dont think seattle will be as bad as people suspect...

i think lakers and griz are out in 2007, with sacramento at the borderline barring "interesting" blockbuster trades.

Posted by King Ecnal on Oct-22-2006 05:37:

I just hope T Mac can stay healthy for a whole season... he's been the only constant in my being a fan... he's the only reason I still care for the NBA...

and I really wish someone would lock up Stephen Jackson... he is a thug... and I just want to see that guy out of the league... he is a disgrace to the nba...

Posted by bananas on Oct-22-2006 19:19:

lakers ftw.

if they could just get past that western finals part, they would have a chance. Id like to see Nash win a title.but i mean when you like the spurs, you dont want to see anyone else other then the spurs get one..unless spurs are out of it.

im a big nets fan but i have to go with suns this season, they are taking it all
