Whats good on new years eve?

I was thinking about what to do on new years eve this year since i will be in Holland
Im sorry if it seems a bit early to be thinking about that but where im from (australia) there are only about 3 things on in sydney to choose from so we have to decide early and usually by now (october)you already know what they are. If you dont get tickets the day they come out you cant get a ticket
Should i just wait before worrying abot it too much?

What events are usually on that would be worth going to?

Most events / venues charge extra because of NYE, so beware of that..

I am used to paying so much for bad production and terrible quality that i dont care how much it costs here as long as its worth it!

a party in the MECC in Maastricht .. also Qrime Time in the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam and a fabulos NYE Special from Awakenings..

yeah, true, for 65 euro you can go to dance valley or mysteryland. However Sanchez en Negro will play long sets, quality music, nice crowd and good location.
