web browser opera
im thinking of switching over from firefox
pros/cons?
are there plug ins?
I used to use it (vers 6) but got tired of compatible issues with sites built for ie. Not sure why you would want to switch?

the only thing i dislike about opera is that it doesnt play embedded videos linked from youtube. other than that its alright.

Opera for me.
Flock ftw. Tried opera and firefox, didnt like the tabs on opera, liked the photobucket intergration of flock. only thing i dont like about flock is that each tab has it's own 'x' to close it, whereas firefox has one 'x' all the way on the right.
I'm sure some people prefer it the way the flockers did it though...
I've only been using it for a couple of weeks now, but I'm definitely liking it. So far only a couple of sites have had compatibility issues, but it's barely worth mentioning.
I guess give it a go yourself and see if you like it
as for plug ins?
any plug ins like the ones for firefox?
script blocker, adblock, weather, etc?
only problem i have with opera is the when i get new messages on myspace, it just shows an empty list
ive gotten my mate who is a debugger over at opera on the case tho lol..

I used it for awhile and really liked it. Eventually I got sick of no plugins working and getting "this browser isnt compatible" crap so I went back to firefox. Fun browser tho. Lots of cool built in features.

The thing I like the most is that you can have your most visited bookmarks on the same tool-bar as the address bar. |
stick with mozilla!
