LI'ers where do you go out?

OK, on Saturday night my friend and I couldn't find a damn place to go. Whenever we go out, I find myself driving through Huntington trying to see what looks good. More often than not, it blows. Usually we end up at The Crazy Donkey in Farmingdale. Where do you guys go out when you're not in the city?

Mirage occasionally has some EDM talent but I would never go there. I dont like Long Island for clubbing at all. I would rather go to the city and if I can't then I would rather not go anywhere.

I dotn go clubbing in LI...if i stay local i go to bars..I live IN Long Beach so especially during the summer there is a ton to do..The Inn, Minnesotas, and Bridgeview had Boris over the summer which was ok...bars in Rockville Centre are pretty good too..

Bianco Lounge by where i work IN happauge is good too...they had Boris a few weeks back no one of not.

A few yrs back DT was at Mirage and Victor Calderone was just at Posh in the Garden City Hotel.

I never gone there since I am not allowed to go to places like that. It says so in my marrige contract.
On the other hand, my friends like to hit that joint once in a blue moon to pick up chicks. They tell me its almost always filled with hotness.

If i go out around LI I usually go to bars...people agree that there really isnt much of an EDM scene out here. Agree with Dave that the bars in Long Beach are a good drunk time...used to go to Mulcahy's in Wantagh when i was in college too...big bar, lots of girls

I'd love to go to the city every weekend if I could but the money adds up everytime. There definitly isn't much of a scene on the Island at all. But you have to make do with what you got. I've been to Bridgeview once, I wasn't too impressed with it. It seems like they let everyone and anyone in. Mirage isn't horrible atleast they have decent DJs. I'm not a fan of The Riddler but he's better than the schmuck they have at most bars.

I been taking adavantage of free Posh(Graden city motel) for the past 5 weeks. Every Thursday night I got free admission(20$) free drinks until 12 or 1am(40-60$) because of those flyers. I think I am going to slow down on that place because I am bored of it. The free ride was the only thing that kept my friend and I going there. He got ripped from playing the black jack.

Hmmm other places.
1. Mirage<-same as posh but def more room to work with
2. Best Bar scene(Rockville Centre, Long Beach, Farmingdale, huntington)
3. Hempstead TNPKE up and down used to be good. I have not been up and down that strip in a couple of years.

Thats all I can think of.

LI is borning unless you got a car and atleast 30$ for the night min

i was just in lb few weeks back for that irish fest since my friend lives there and is in the fire dept. man i dont remember shit from that night haha..was one of those black out nights where i was too sloppy and supposely got kicked out of minneostas haha.

not much to do on LI clubs wise..u got dublin pub which is ehhh (lotta underaged hs girlies running around haha), the bars on hofstra strip/hempstead tpk which can be a decent drunk time..or i just hit up my friends frat partys since he goes to hofstra and thats basically it if i stay local..

i should hit up posh one of these days since i live like 5 mins away from there..dunno if ill like it...

My friend said LI bars do things in honor of Oktoberfest and it's a bag of fun, I might check it out this year.

Haven't heard very many good things about the vibe and the crowd at posh. Havent bothered to go either. I work near Hempstead Turnpike, there are some small bars that are ok around there. Sometimes a group of our coworkers may head over there after work for a meal and a few drinks but not really for music/dancing.

Well, I hang out in the Hamptons during some Summer weekends when I stay at my relatives summer house, but otherwise I really don't know any clubs on LI. Although as it happens, I will be going to POSH on November 8th since I just found out that, my hero, Victor Calderone will be spinning there.

Quick question: How much is the bottle service there? (Same as in the city?)

I've never been to Ice. How is it there? I think there's also a club a little north of there. Whenever I drive past it looks there's a lot of people in there. Not sure the name of it, but it has a bunch of large glass windows. Anyone been there before?
