Djuma Soundsystem - Les Djinns (Trentemoller Remix)
I'm probably a bit late on this one as my music taste has been all over the place recently. But Oh my. Trentemoller really has refound his touch with this remix.
So overplayed it hurts.
I really don't see the appeal. Good tune, but it's success is a mystery to me as I don't really see it as anything exceptional. ![]()
Lawler ended his set on Saturday with this w/Green Velvet - La La Land acapella layered over it. Completely random.
good mix, altho some of the mixes on the original package beats the trentemller remix easily, like the red mix & the heads mix.

Didnt know it had been overplayed but I can imagine it being whored by everyone. La La Land over the top, hmm, did that actually work well? Might have to check out the original too then.

Hrm...very good remix by Tremoller.Nice Soundz,nice guitar..
,The Melody is got me..
First time hearing this track was at Crobar when Lawler played it as his encore. Was a perfect close to the night.
Ch00n. Seeing Trentemoller this FRIDAY!!!!

!
Best was when Steve Big dropped this @ Piknic Electronik- outdoor parties ftw!
Overplayed. Decent track tho.

| Originally posted by chesco I honestly think it's a phenomonal tune. I was down at mambo on my last day of a two week holiday and the dj played it, it was fuckin class in that setting. It's actually pretty old, 2003 I think was the original year of release |
I agree that the tune is overplayed but it's fantastic. Lawler ended his set with it at Pacha in Ibiza when I was there and I loved it. I just checked out Peter Kruder (Kruder & Dorfmeister) this past Friday at a club out here and he played it as well...didn't really have the same effect though
That said, I love the track...almost bought it, but probably wouldn't play it out.
Well it certainly would appear that Lawler's encores as of late are fairly predictable!

Great remix. I really like the vibe it gives off from the begining until that instrument comes in.
