Trance releases on RIP Recordings

hi there trance addicts ... John here from RIP Recordings

I run a hard dance label but am about to release a couple of
trancers on digital

Other than some blatant promotion I could also do with some feedback as i dont even listen to trance so its been a bit difficult as far as engineering is concerned
samples at myspace ..

Full thrust and check this stuff out are the 2 in question .. pretty obvious when you listen to the other samples

full thrust is my main cause for concern so any feedback from the people who know would be very welcome.

also do you think this is real trance or still hard trance ? bit of a dilemma all round really

it's somewhat more hardhouse/hardstyle than trance

the bottom 2 myspace tracks are pretty cool, but sound very 90s

where abouts in oxford are you based?

couple of questions for ya then mate .. wheres a good place for me to have a listen to some up to date trance and what do you think of the production .. thats my main concern

cool, i'll add you in the mornin when i'm back in the studio

overall the production is pretty good, it just sounds old! if you go in the tracklist section, most of the sets have download links with them so that should hopefully give you an idea of the kind of production technique and standard that is floating about at the minute

cheers Luke .. will do .

I'll pass your details onto Rosss if thats ok .. he needs someone to bounce his ideas off .. its all a bit gay for me

better off aiming it at the hard trance then you think?

cheers for your help mate
