Hey guys.. sorry it took me so long.. but here is the information i got ...

well first of .. are we still having the bbq???

I already spoke with CINDY (the lady who handles reservations for the park and stuff) the park opens at 8am...it is a beach park...and she is not going to charge us for the rent of a pavillion...(i think there s a charge of 2 dollars per car to get in the park)


directions: ... I95 south to I395(EXIT 5) EAST-TOWARDS MIAMI BEACH.
I 395 BECOMES MACARTHUR CSWY....TURN RIGHT ONTO 5TH STREET/FL A1A E.
THEN TURN RIGHT ONTO EUCLID AVE.... THEN RIGHT ONTO WASHINGTON AVE....

THE PARK IS ON THE CORNER OF WASHIGNTON AND 1ST STREET.

anyways... now that we have a park.. we need to know who s bringing what?? and who is going to go.?

Ok... I can't really do anything at night either...

but the park closes at 6pm i think...
so we have to start something like around 12-1pm???

Hey Faye, whad-da-ya-say? Wanna throw some clay in the month on May? Possibly play in hay that is gray??? OK, I'm done. I love your idea and don't think for a SECOND your efforts go unnoticed. And ever the optomist, I really hope everything falls into place. If enough people committ (which i think is the one problem on this board), and we can do this, you can expect me to exhaust all efforts to make this gathering the best it can be. However, if everyone is still like "Um, i want to, I dont know" and the like, may i propose a fall back option so all is not lost. Me and Auturo have been talking about getting either lunch or dinner down there, but I'd like to add this tidbit: In keeping in mind you and Robby dont wish to be up late, as do i, I propose this --> Blade 2! It opens Friday, maybe a group of us could see it. It looks NASTY!!! Remember this is ONLY a fall back option. This is only an idea if the BBQ falls through. I am pushing for the BBQ, have been since the idea was born, I just want to be safe

ARE WE OR AREN'T WE!?!? I DON'T WANT TO RUFFLE ANY FEATHER HERE, BUT...will the people who aren't going please stop POSTING on this topic! I'm confused as ALL hell and the gathering is tomorrow! I can be in South Beach by 12:30 noon. If needed, I will be. Last I heard Robby qiestioned whether it is worth having. I think so, even if it IS 4-7 of us. C'mon lets get our stuff together. Faye, if the park is still the place, I'll be there. We need to commit. I pray that meetings during conference week will be less complicated. This should have been easy. And to those of you who don't know me, I'm not a prick. I just like having some kind of idea of whats happening. You'll see

are really the only ppl going to this bbq... so seriously.. i don;t think its even worth driving all the way down there.. The point of the bbq is to bring new ppl around so we can meet them.. but since it NEVER works.. lets just meet on Saturday morning ok?

Faye, actually, I dont have your phone number. e-mail it to me. [email protected]. WHAT IS HAPPENING tomorrow??? I get out of class at noon. I want to do something! Right now is perfect! We are on the verge of starvation for Conference Week! It seems like we have a few others that want to meet tomorrow too. C'mon, let's do it!!! The park on Washington Street around 1:00pm. Oh, pleeeeeease!!! I am coming straight home from school tomorrow, and i really want to see something saying we're getting together when I come back to this topic. I have no way of contacting you, Robby, Auturo, or anyone else other than these posts and AIM. WRITE ME ASAP!!!!

Ok im leaving for miami tommorow mornin and will get there tommorow night. Probably not in time for the BBQ, but I would like to meet up with someone and possibly go around town. I've never been to miami so i'd love to chill with some people who know whats goin down(abt/dreamgirl).
