Vanguard or Toxic III?

Hey guys. I'm going to get one of these two softsynths, but i'm not sure which one to go with. They are the same price, so that is not a consideration. What do you think is better and why?

ill recommend Toxic III just beacuse i dont like Vanguard's Detune engine and its overrated already and u can recgonise it on every tune today...Toxic III is fresh has better engine and has more options than the Vanguard

I don't like Vanguard either. Shitty, weak oscillators that alias like crazy. Filter resonance doesn't sound nice to me. I hate the LFOs. It has *MONSTER* CPU load when you set the polphony high and play a sucession of notes with delay and long amp envelope release.

Thats what i was thinking. I was leaning towards toxic just because its new and i think i can get better bassline sounds out of it which is what i am most concerned about. My only reservation is that i already own Sytrus which uses FM synthesis. Vanguard would be more of a departure from this with its subtractive synthesis, but at the same time i have a handful of wonderful, free, analogue subtractive synths. So right now i'm leaning towards toxic, i just wanted to get some more opinions before i buy.

Another vote for Toxic, for the same reasons as stated by others.

But if you have Sytrus, you don't really need Toxic, because Sytrus is one helluva synth, far more capable than Toxic and they are both FM/substractive hybrids, so you'd have considerable overlapping. IMO you should save your money for another synth - if you really want to buy another synth, that is, because there's no way you're going to exhaust Sytrus any time soon. OTOH it's nice to have different sounding synths in your arsenal.
