Yes, I'm French and I appreciate his work.
I like his latest movie, 'Scoop' (once again with Scarlett!), but my fav Woody Allen movie is by far 'Manhattan'.

I haven't seen many of his films.

I thought match pointe was terrible. Reminded me too much of Camus' The Stranger.

I enjoyed Shadows and Fog but saw 13 years ago so I don't remember much other than that.
