In between Electro House and Trance

hey
im looking for some tracks i can use to take a set from electro house to trance. Something in between but if possible im looking for tracks that the bass is similar to what it would be like in an electro house track. Stuff like halliwell would play. i dont really know what style i would look for so anything you suggest will help.
Thanks guys

Look at somewhat recent Ferry Corsten tracklists, those may be some help.

Edit: Archive

Check out some of Gareth Emery aka GTR's newer tracks, like "Cops" or Russ James and "This is Music EP". Quite a few of the newer releases on Five AM records have electro sounds. Oh and check out Marco V's new stuff like on his "Any Better, Or? EP".

Doesnt every damn track these days use that boring bassline soundwave?

Be careful of electro, I loved Sasha until he got bitten by that bug.

There are some good electro-house tracks with good melodies and actual rhythm. The majority of them though have mindless and passionless arrangment and melodies.

The chris harrington daily thread.

Look through some progressive house on beatport. That could help with the transition.

I'm not sure if it is anything near or if it sounds like "electro" but there has been one track that Jonas Steur has played in his 2 last Intuition sets that has well... an "electroish" bassline but the middle has a really beautiful melody. It's still an ID so...

But yer not sure if that would fit what your talking about. I know of what your talking about but the others have listed some that I was gonna suggest so yer.

Abel Ramos - Electro Fun
Terry Ferminal - Nymph

This kind of stuff? Check out whats SvD playing lately. He always starts with house and then moves to trance.

Seems to me that Hammer & Funabashi - Moments might be of interest to you
(both Original and Thomas Penton remix)...

I think that filterheadz sunshine or endless summer could do the job...

In my mind a transition from an electro house track into moments would be horrible

Listen to some of Niklas Harding's sets over the past year and you'll get a good idea of how to do it

I guess I assumed you meant really dreamy Electro-y Trance. That's why I suggested Moments.
The original is so nice
