Celtic supporters tribute to Miklos Feher
Its a been a bad week for football and fans. The shit with the Nice vs Mariselle game i was delighted to see this. In a time where fans nearly pride themselves on hating other fans, it was good to see Celtic making a tribute to the Benfica palyer who collapsed during a match.

| Just back from Lisbon guys and here's a wee update for you. The banner went down a storm in Lisbon they loved it. Well done one and all who contributed, Simao the Benfica Captain broke down after the pictures, he was one of Miklos' closest friends and he was delighted by the Celtic fans gesture. There was also a cheque handed over to Nuno Gomes for 270 which Benfica have told us they will donate to a local Children with Cancer charity so again well done. One more thing, the UEFA observer who was at the game was Hungarian and he also made the time to come and see us after the game to thank us all as Celtic fans from the people of Hungary. He told us it had made the press over there and people appreciated the fact that we had "kept his memory alive". He made a speech about the banner at the Directors Meal the night before the match and said that it was a fantastic gesture and something that is never seen from rivals these days. "Celtic fans are in a league of their own" I was priviledged to hand the banner over and believe me that was the best experience i have ever had outwith my kids being born. Hail Hail |
Wow, first time I'm seeing that video, I'm speechless
Very nice gesture from Celtic fans ![]()
This is a fantastic gesture from the Celtic-fans, gestures like this makes the board, the players, and the fans very proud. This is why the fans are so important to the game, and to the club, they feel with you and they follow the club no matter what, These are true fans.
This is the way it should be ![]()
Just beautiful, and I hope that these kind of sudden deaths never happens again. Miklos Feher and Marc Vivien Fo are two symbols of this together with all the other players who lost their lifes in a football game.
Amazing video aswell
i'm not a celtic fan but now i definitely have a lot of respect for their supporters, kudos to you
As a celtic fan i'm always left proud, to see the way our fans conduct themselves abroad.
This was a tremendous tribute to the player and it shows how much respect our fans hold for the countries they visit - unlike a lot of others.
I was over in milan a few years back when we got beaten 3-1 and the atmosphere that day is something that will be with me all my life. It's a shame our team can't match the fans performances away from home.
that said, very rarely does the result matter for our fans - it's all about getting pished in a new country
Im not normally a terribly emotional kind of guy, but i tell you what that video was fucking hard to watch...RIP.
as most of you know I have no soul at times but that was very sad RIP and well done Celtic
