Ministry of Sound Headphones
Does anyone own the MOS Pro Dj headphones 1001. I need to buy some headphones but want something different than the technics, pioneer, or sony headphones. Another question, does anyone know where to buy these in the U.S.? Please help?
Stanton has pretty good headphones. Can't remember the models name... ARGH! And their American! (i hhink)
If you look in the DJ forums of this site, you will find many headphones related threads, i myself use Technics headphones
good sound quality, versatile in the fact u can monitor on one ear and are basicly the industry standard.

You'll have to contact Gluegun on this topic, he is the god of headphones on this forum. In fact, its all he ever posts about.
Yea, basically.
I dont use this forum as a 'primary' forum, but whenever someone posts a headphone thread, I'll be there!

Ministry of Sound headphones are comfortable, overpriced, durable, have lots of features, have loud, deep bass, have little midrange, and are unnaturally bright, detailed and analytical, making the highs jump out at you in a fatiguing way.
Here, look at these threads:

As you live in the U.S., check out the MDR-V6's (my sig is outdated for pricing, check shopping.yahoo.com for the cheapest prices).
Thanks for the responses, Gluegun is the man.
gluegun is right about the sony's those headphones are the best. I bought em and I love em.
Realistic Nova 40's are the way to go
Um, aren't those Nova 40's really ancient outdated discontinued headphones that you can get for $10?

I just couldn't find ANY information on them at all other than a head-fi post talking about Ebay auctions of old headphones... and I also found them in a few lists of equipment in sound studios, one of which said that they cost $10... and nothing else, really...
