Review: Borat.

anyone saw this yet?

just came back from the CHAOS at silvercity richmond hill. Never seen a theatre this busy before in my life. it got so bad that everyone rushed the theatre and the workers just decided to not check anyone anymore. i ended up going in and out of the theatre with the ticket stub attached to my ticket the whole time. complete disorganization. oh well...

on to the movie: it definately made everyone laugh on a consistent basis. a lot of times you couldnt hear the jokes because the theatre was laughing. i laughed my ass off but i dont think i could ever watch this movie more than twice.



Basically it meets "borat" expectations.

have a ticket for today at 5pm. getting high and then going with friends...can't wait

salesman - "that'd be a corvette"

FUCKING hilarious. the whole thing delivers. i laughed, i cried (from laughing), the theatre was going nuts. perfect atmosphere for this crazy movie. i'm shocked that there were that many ppl in the movie that took him seriously. he did a good job at exposing how ridiculous we really are.

highlights were the naked wrestling and the part where he throws the bag on the ground and it clucks....i couldn't breathe i was laughing so hard.

i'd see it again.

i decided to go watch it tonight, went to colossus in woodbrige at 1130.. and they didnt even check tickets... i should have not paid lol.

Anyway i was laughin my ass off the whole time, but it didnt meet my expectations... the commercials and all the youtube stuff realy spoils the movie. But there are some parts that are just histerical.

and i definatly thing this movie should have been Rated R and not 14A. Cuz a 14 year old can take him serious and bring all the anti-sematism to his school.

anyway the movie was good. i am glad i watched. but i think that cohan played all of us as a part of his prank on north america... cuz it was WAY WAY WAY over hyped... he tricked all of us just like he tricked all the morons down south.. and i guess thats funny in its own way as well

I think the guy's a genious, the story line,the jokes were amazing...

many people tell me they got offended, honestly i wasnt offended at all, it was all for the sake of comedy and cohen delivered big time. the funniest part other then the naked fight has to be when hes getting heald by these evangelicals borats face was priceless!

went to see this 2night at 12 in AMC

very packed had to sit on 2nd row which was kinda shit. the movie itself was kinda jokes, parts of it were alittle too much like the fucking dirty naked gayness but at least the fattie looked funny. lots of the jokes were just too stupid. still its kinda refreshing haha

i've seen it a few weeks ago. Honestly hilarious and rediculous. I haven't laughed so hard in a cinema before. It definetly helps if the audience is packed

Hahaha, Mona and I were right at the side, and couldn't see a thing. So we ditched the movie and got drunk. Oh well, maybe we will see it some other time.

If your going..pre-buy your tickets and get there early if you want good seats.

I saw the 3:00pm showing yesterday, and I think thats the first time i've ever seen a Matinee show sold out. People were sitting in the aisles!

But yeah, absolutely hilarious movie! I don't want to ruin it for people...but definitely a must see.

When we left, around 4:45 the line up for the 6:00pm showing was packed already!

It was stupid, but I've never laughed my ass of like that in a theater before. A must watch. However, a lot of the jokes are only funny the first time because of their shock-value. I bet if I saw it a second time, i would barely laugh.

We had planned to see this movie last night at Galaxy in Waterloo. But nobody listened to my (as it turns out correct) urging that we get there at least 45 minutes early. We got there ten minutes before it started and it was completely nuts! The two late shows had sold out nearly two hours beforehand. I'll wait a week but I was really looking forward to it.

That was my only dissapointment. The "deleted scenes" were not so deleted, as like you mentioned, I already saw 1/3rd of the scenes before the movie.
