Ear Plugs VS None?

I see some people wearing Earplugs while in a club...I personally rather listen to the music with nothing in my ears blocking the sound..i can udnerstand why some people would wear it though...whats your take on them?

I have earplugs..i just never bring them.

My ears are still kinda ringing from the Zone yesterday, so maybe I should start wearing them...

from now on, i'm wearing them. my ears are still ringing from CoZo yesterday. at worst i think they would just cut the treble/sharp sound of the music.

maybe next time.

yup, too much clubbing without earplugs. Also, I've taken a 2 month break from using my MP3 player. Ears are way too sensitive and right now I don't even listen to my player with the volume low. Every time I watch "It's All Gone Pete Tong" I start to cringe and worry about losing my hearing. Fucken scary!!!

ER-20s ftw

You only get one set of ears your entire life. (well, natural ones anyways)

I wear them and love them.

Do you have the ER-20s? the wax or foam ones (which suck regardless, but yes, are better than nothing) definitely drowned out sound and muffle/kill the highs and lows.

The 20$ ER-20s I ordered online (many many TAs have them) are great. Dont just drop the decibel levels to comfortable ones that still let me sucks up the vibe of hte party. And i never have to worry about them falling out, or killing the music experience bc they are distorting the sound on me.

I swear by my ER-20s. So glad I have them.

Mine too. Its not that I usually have ringing in my ears after the club, but just that AT the club my ears sometimes just get wayyyyyy to sensitive and hurt when its too loud.

Or if I happen to be in a good spot but its too near a speaker, the plugs allow me to be able to dance there, as I was doing at the Zone on Sunday.

I dont think my ER-20s ruin my photos! I have the blue ones and I really like the way they look! I dont mind at all having them visible in bright blue in my ears in any photos! They look nifty.

Search eBay for ER-20s.

I bought mine for $8.99US including shipping. They work pretty well. I actually use them more for sleeping haha. They are actually comfortable enough to wear while sleeping (if not all the way in).

I've never actually worn them at a club, as its never loud enough or i just forget. But i'm thinking i should bring them around more often.

problem solved. they come in 'clear' also.

Posted by Cribby on Nov-06-2006 22:01:

My ears are incapable of ringing, so this is never a problem for me...they only get slightly clogged up...but only at Zone.

i think i need the fitted ones. these ER20s look the worst. even the clear ones. i don't need more attention to my giant ears.

Posted by -=ryancoke=- on Nov-06-2006 22:38:

for me it's simple. If I'm at the Guv, it's earplugs. If i wear them, i don't have ringing ears for the next day and a half. Oddly enough, when I was last at sonic, I didn't have earplugs and no ringing the next day. maybe the guv is just too loud?

Posted by dallastar on Nov-06-2006 22:45:

I wear them almost every single time.... if I don't wear them that's when I know I will hear ringing for the next day, and I don't know about you, but I hate that ringing sounds after going out . . .
