Gabber!!!
I don't know much about gabber, all I know is I've heard it at a couple of raves and thought it was really repetitious and though I liked it at the rave, outside of that context I might think it is stupid because it's so repetitious and pounding. But I'm guessing there are a lot of cool gabber songs out there, but I don't know where to look for them. For those of you who know about gabber, can you think of any songs which are unusually melodic, like not only have the hard gabber beat but some sort of a recognizable melody? Thanks!!!
ask B.S.E, im sure he can point you in the right direction
Theres always the song "Evil Homer"
funny hardcore song
heh. hehehehehe. hehehehehehehe.
man, you should have come straight to me. i used to be into hardcore, hardcore.
there is a lot of newstyles coming out in the hardcore sound, and lately i've been getting more into jungle and breakcore. but i can still give you the DL on some of the sickest music out there.
hardcore has amazing melodies, hard driving bass and crazy ass samples. it is IMO some of the most creative and driving electronic music out there.

Hope this will help you. I was into hardcore/gabber from 1995-1998, the years I still consider the genre's best days, both musical and party-wise (Thunderdome, Mysteryland, Earthquake, Hellraiser, Digital Overdose, Trip To Dreamland, Ghosttown, Raver's Religion... hmmm brings back some fine memories
)
It was the scene that made ID&T (now famous for Sensation, Shockers, Innercity and Trance Energy) big. Though gabber has been almost mainstream for many years, the scene is relatively small nowadays. Many gabbers are now into hardhouse, techno and trance. But, in contrast to what many people thought, hardcore has never died!
Peace.
Forces of Fear!!!
And I loved Neophyte, the Stunned Guys, Dj Paul (Code red...aargh).
Diss Reaction - Jiiiieehaaaa
Dj Lancinhouse vs. Jappo - Ax Lx
Dj Paul vs. Teenage Warning - Brohymn
The Horrorist - Flesh is the Fever (got this on vinyl)
Men of Steel - Pain
Bertolucci Feranzano - XTC Love
Dj Paul - Play My Game
Jones & Stephenson - The First Rebirth (OMG...Classic!!!!!)
Neophyte vs. Stunned Guys - Get this mother******
Terror trax 17 -> Darren Kelly vs. Scot Brown - Geleihoofd (AAAAAAARGH)
French Connection - French Connection
Chosen few - Name of the DJ
Neophyte - Execute
Dr. Macabre - Poltergeist
Turbulence - 6 million ways to die
Smash - Korrekte atmosphere
also look for anything made by PCP, Marshall Masters, Rave Creator and Nasty Django (all produced by Marc Acardipane)
and my fave song of all time:
Taciturne - Der Toten (very rare vinyl, featuring Hellraiser 2 theme)
oh..the good old days
btw..Forces of Fear is a producer-duo formed by 2 friends of mine. They make raw and hard hardcore. I've got one of their cd's..if you'd like to listen to one of their songs..PM me

It's cool to see that there are also some other old gabber in these site .
Now the hardcore movement it's death but anyone can let as forget it .
It's from the day 20 june that ruffneck left that i'm not more in the scene
Many hardcore producer are making trance now like G-town madness and many more ...
I don't know you but i don't like much Enzyme .It's suck . So we will have only the memories of cool music .
Hope the hardcore movemt will came back a day .....
Respect to the old " Real Gabber "

It isn't dead... It's just smaller. Paul Elstak, Rotterdam Terror Corps, Buzz Fuzz, Bass D. & King Matthew, The Prophet, Catscan, Promo, Pavo, Dano and many others are still spinning and producing hardcore music....
It's just not a hype anymore
yeah i know but it's not goog like a time
HARDCORE WILL NEVER DIE!!!!!!!!!
BSE pretty much summed it all up, here are sm of my favs
Neophyte/Bodylotion - Make you Dance <-- classic!
Neophyte - Recession
DJ Paul Elstak - Code Red
I probably know many many more of them, however over teh years I have forgotten it
a VERY GOOD new track
G-Shock - Demons (DJ Promo Mix)
put it loud!
heh hardcore will survive, no doubt.
i also suggest looking up
manu le malin
dj jappinhouse (or unexist)
dj producer
simon underground (one of the best dj's everrrr)
armageddon project
elite forces
lenny dee
thanks BSE
bald terror - Drummachine (Neophyte Remix)
that track is mad!
I used to have a couple of tape packs from Helter Skelters Technodrome back in the mid to later 90's with dj's like the Music Maker. He played stuff very very fast, so fast you could not even shake a stick at it!
another great track
the tunnel - neophyte vs the masochist
you'll all know the sample, i'm sure.
I don't like much what neophyte make ,
for me his style it's too much commercial .
An od track
Mystic - dangerous battle
Gabber has it's little niche, but it died in 1995 really. That is the devil's music gabber but if you all enjoy it then i'm happy but please don't play that stuff around me.
