Until Melbourne Victory get 4 stars, represent Australia at the World Club Championship, play the football the likes of Paul Trimboli, Oscar Crino, Murphy, Gardiner, Puskas, Boutsianis, Lozanovski play, the Victory can keep the plastic fantastic club and shove it up their clackers. There is only one true club in Australia...It stuck through football thick and thin, no excuses. Until Victory can have a resume like that, they are still for the tip.

Attended my first game last night

Although I lost a bit of interest towards the end, when we finally scored it was worth it.

Atleast I have the medallion club screens to watch the greyhound racing if I get bored!

The supporters need to learn how to leave a bloody car park though!!

And that same club that your talking about helped ruin the image of Football in australia, with little wog scum supporters that think its cool to demolish trams, restaurant fronts and other peoples heads with anything they could get there hands on.

Fuck your a bigger muppet than i thought.

Firstly i would like you to retract your comment about "wog scum".

Secondly, ive seen worse at Victory games...Difference? Media reporting. Go see what happened up in sydney. What about the flair thrown from the top deck at docklands that landed on a little kid.

Thirdly, lets have a look at Australias World Cup squad. While you were still growing pubes, us wog scum, were supporting the game to no end. All NSL raised. Go tell billy Voitek who coached the dukes for 7 years of his junior career that he ruined the game. Lets disect the squad:

Viduka - Melb Knights
Lazaridis - West Adelaide
Chipperfield - Wollogong
Swarchzer - Marconi
Kalac - Sydney United
Skoko - North Geelong
Culina - Sydney United
Emerton - Sydney Olympic
Popovic - Sydney United

The list goes on and on you little piece of shit. Dont come to me and say we ruined football. We shed blood and tears for football, and then for a league to come around abuse and call us ethnics, you want me to support them. Get your head out of your ass. Keep your Lowy style propoganda to yourself, and more importantly your derogotary remarks about my heritage to yourself.

You see i have no idea who he was talking about until you provided that description Paulie. Then it became perfectly clear

Finally got down to the Dome last night to check it out and the atmosphere was great despite a pretty messy game. 23K people - almost more that most Kangaroos games

Fred is my new hero lol.

Posted by pkcRAISTLIN on Nov-09-2006 22:52:

ahhh, friday morning flames!

id have to agree with paulie, media reporting is at the crux of this issue. they love nothing more than a race-tinged story. having said that of course, there is nothing to excuse the behaviour of some aussie football fans, "ethnic" or not.

Posted by Paulie on Nov-09-2006 22:52:

Millson...best you stay out of this topic...

Posted by Dean Millson on Nov-09-2006 22:54:

Paulie...i'll do whetever the fuck i want thank's very much

Posted by PauLie_C on Nov-09-2006 23:00:

paulie, i lived next door to Billy Voitek for 6 years, as for that flair at the sydney game, yes that was wrong, there are still incidents like this that still harm the image of soccer in australia, but it is by no means anywhere near what it used to be, if i had a kid back in the nsl days, there is no way i would have taken my kid to watch a game, now parents can take there kids to games without a worry in the world.

i was not directing the "wog scum" comment at you!!
I dont think you would have been one of those 3 or 4 thousand moronic south melb supprters that thought it was kool to throw chais at cops when south melbourne won the grand final, or that ruined the shop front of taco bill throwing chairs into it every time south melbourne won a game.

And i dont really think you can compare the players that cam out of the old NSL, considering the a-league is only in its second year, its hard to compare the players that this leaguie has developed compared to a league that was around for 30 odd years!

And for the record, im not bagging your heritage you fvcking tool, i am also greek, but there is a minority the "wog scum" who fvcked the image of soccer here, and finally now the a-league is out to rectify that, and they are doing a great job at that.

Posted by Aesthetic on Nov-09-2006 23:01:

paulie, i sent you a pm.

Posted by Paulie on Nov-09-2006 23:16:

Ohhh Millson, i dont like that tone of yours young boy! :|

Paulie_C i didnt mean to rip into you so hard (the topic is close to my heart, im a life member at south), the fact of the matter is we got spat on, shat on, and left high and dry by all sundry. The game is going leaps and bounds now because the administrators played the race card, so your joe and Bob can go to a game without having to put up with an ethnic. Its a sad reality, and one in which i will not have any part in. The sad part in all this is, we now only have 8 competitive teams ina national league, no youth league, and no real up and coming players coming up to play in the next couple of world cups. (u17's didnt qualify, u20's didnt qualify). At the moment the a league is just masking some of the real problems we are facing.

Now who's pandering racist stereotypes?

Can you ellaborate on what you actually mean by that?

Posted by Paulie on Nov-09-2006 23:27:

Dean read your first post in this thread...

Posted by Dean Millson on Nov-09-2006 23:29:

I did. And?

Posted by PauLie_C on Nov-09-2006 23:34:

Paulie, as of next season i believe there is a new national youth league about to start. As for the lack of youth coming up in the ranks, you cant possibly blame the new FFA team for this, this has come about due to the 2 barron years we went with, without a national competition and no direction at all, give this a-league a few years and you will see it will start bringing up some great youth players.

There are already a few

Nathan Byrnes (Adelaide Utd)
Matt Mckay (Qld Roar)
Dario Vidosic (Qld Roar)
Michael Beauchamp (CCM) now at FC Nurenburg

mate, i also followed south melbourne, but i started getting fed up with the sh#t i had to deal with at the games walking to and from the ground then when at the ground. I have no problem with the club, and yes they have a great history, but its supporters and its poor management screwed the club into bits, not the new FFA, i have had this discussion so many times with my best mate, as he is a die hard south melb supporter and refuses to watch a victory game.

Posted by Paulie on Nov-09-2006 23:37:

Dean if you cant see the correllation between your first post and that statement that is your problem.

Posted by Paulie on Nov-09-2006 23:39:

Well if they want to start straight away! Get rid of ange asap.

Posted by Dean Millson on Nov-09-2006 23:42:

There were my sereotypes in my post at all mate.

My point was that i was about to ask who you were talking about but when Paulie mentioned the smashed up taxi & restaurants i knew exactly who you were talking about. That's not a stereotype - that shit happened mate.

Posted by Paulie on Nov-09-2006 23:50:

Of course it happened! You were there werent you!

edit: All im saying its amazing what a little bit of media support can do...It can ruin you or make you. Ie (NSL v A-league)
