Total Trashy Concept? lol.

Seriously, there have been alot of problems lately, more so than usual.

Posted by rabbitjoker on Nov-09-2006 22:36:

I take it every day and haven't experienced a single problem since October 1.

In any given week for the last couple of months, more times than not...buses fail to show up by my house. Today, for example, I was going to work and left my house at 9.05am to catch the 9.09am bus...unfortunately the 9.09 bus never came and I had to wait for the 9.24 bus.

Posted by Frenchie on Nov-09-2006 22:40:

Well you're lucky RJ! I constantly have paused trains for an x amount of time, or they tell us to get off the train and catch the next one.

Latly bus drivers tell us all to get off and catch the next bus.

Just yesterday, my train stopped 3 times randomly in the tunnel between 3 different stops.

TTc doesn't like me, lol.

yea the finch buses used to run perfectly 2 years ago I was really impressed with that.. now they are always late and many times they are full and don't even bother stopping

but the subways are the worst, the power keeps going down all the time =S I take the subway daily downtown from finch station and it was almost daily that I got stuck for like 15 mins, maybe TTC hates ME!

Posted by infinity HiGH on Nov-09-2006 22:50:

To be honest, I have't had many issues with trains. Like you I'm travelling from the end of the line all the way downtown, but the trains are the one thing that have remained consistent in their service. Sure there's delays here and there, that happens...but it's rare. Buses though...ugh...

a friend just called me from near eglinton station and said that the subway is indeed stopped. apparently someone decided to see what the subway looks like up close... real close.

The trains stop in the tunnels to obey signals (like stop-lights).

Short pauses within the tunnel is reasonable and should be expected.

Yea. Last thing I want is for everyone to ignore the signals.

Is it still down? I need to take it to get down to College....

Posted by arminOcaine on Nov-09-2006 23:06:

Seems like the subway, has been causing some issues. too bad eh! I feel lucky, since i dont need to use it. i live right in the heart of downtown so i can just walk or take the street car to get around.

I think so.... umm, maybe get off at Eglington Station and take the Avenue Bus South and get off at college and take the street car east to college and yonge?

that's my only suggestion hun!

I have experienced some sort of announcment on the subway about once or twice a week for the last couple of months.

September is one of the most depressing months of the year, and so the number of 'technical problems'(jumpers) significantly rises during this period of the year.
