Best recording software for Mac?

Have to provide a DAT Recorder at some of my upcoming events, and instead of actually buying a DAT Recorder, I'm going to just hook up my MacBook Pro and record directly onto the hard drive.

Can anyone advise on the best software to use to record on the Mac platform?

1. SoundStudio Pro (Which I use)
2. Audacity (Free)
