Spending quality time with family and friends. All the yummy festive food and drink. The sights, sounds, and smells of the season. Even snow! The holiday season makes winter bearable.

| Originally posted by EXTREMUM The last decent Christmas I had, was five years ago, one year before my mother passed away. Since then, the entire family split apart, and I've tried too hard to get a hold of everybody - no luck. Sad enough to say - I've only been in touch with my grandmother, in FL. I moved back up to NY, to regain relations with my siblings, but it hasn't worked out - another mission failed. Now, everyone knows why I'm eager to go back to FL so quickly, unless some new positive development occur, while I'm in NY. |

My dad moved to the states about 3-4 years ago now and its hard not to see him at all over Christmas, especially when he sounds pretty sad on the phone when I speak to him. |
