Buy the Wii ???

well, almight c0r...

the day is almost upon us, as the Wii is released this saturday.
so, should i buy one??
its really a yes/no question cus im not really interested in the ps3 cus its so friggin expensive ($650) where the Wii is dirt cheap ($279)..

Although at times you make very great arguments, your being a total arse for this, as consoles aren'tfor kids at all, they provide good entertainment, the games you play depend on wether your a child or not.

If they do they're even more of a gamer for playing ps's, tendo's etc.

I say you buy it. My friend has a game cube and I had fun playing super smash brothers, even though I couldn't figure out the button sequences.

the cool thing about the Wii is that i can buy old NES, SNES and n64 games and play them on the wii.
right now im about 65/35 in favour of buying it, and if/when i do, ill give a review on TA, dont worry fellas

I think you actually have to rebuy all the games though right? The Wii doesn't just play the old cartridges, you have to download them.

It costs like less than $10 dollars for the vast majority of games. PLUS, these are official, so you don't have to worry about any bugs or technical difficulties.

Also, you should be able to play ROMS if you feel like it. I think.

it'll play gamecube games off the mini-cds iirc, but you'll have to download other games

That's what I was guessing and I'm still down with it. Man that would be great to go back and relive so many games on only one console.

Don't buy the initial batch of Wiis. They're bound to have some hardware problems seeing as how Nintendo only started manufacturing them at the end of September.
