Hi mate

I have just listened to your track. Very impressed with the overall sound you have achieved, very clean with the parts not in competition for attention.

The structure is also very well thought out and the flow from start to finish is great.

About the X-Factor, all I think it is lacking is some mastering to give the mix some depth. I have just ran it through my generic waves mastering chain and in my opinion it is sounding better. I am more than happy to upload it if you want a listen

Good work though.

nice kick

the intro is pretty similar to a track im working on. so i like that.

the breakdown around 2:25 gets a bit repetitive i would introduce the main lead a bit earlier.

its a has feel. sounds like someone but i cant think of who at the minute. but it sounds very nice when it kicks back in.

cant really comment on eqing etc as im listening on headphones.

nice listen mate.

good track you have going.

Hello H.

Just listening now....

Nice percussion - plenty of action,
- not to sure about the sound building up...
- Once the beat kicks in again, nice energy
- breakdown at 2.26 seems a bit sudden, could do with more effects, down filters etc.
- try a bit more delay, reverb etc in the break to fill it out more
- Getting a bit repetetive now... here comes another lead...
- think there needs to be a bit more of a build up after the break, a bit sudden again.
- i quite like the melody though, there just could do with something more - the sounds are a bit 'flat' if you know what I mean?

Overall though, its got the basis of a nice tune, although it does get a bit repetetive.

Hope im not being too harsh - i would rather people be honest with me so I can improve!

TMP.

Ps - please will you review my latest remix of Depeche Mode's Policy of Truth - thanks!

Like the atmosphere, nice melody! But as other already has said, a bit repetitive. Sounds good anyway!

hey harry,

nice track overall, but the break takes forever and could be spiced up a bit. the percussion is standard (not to take anything away- standard is good, you dont have to re-invent the wheel)...

the melodic elements are good, but they feel like they are dragging me nowhere, there needs to be more sense of anticipation and define characteristic to the melodic arrangements...

good luck, catalin.
