Question about Tilt.
Whatever happened to the melodic trancey tilt from 99? I noticed that the recent essential mix of theirs was more progressive? Did they always play progressive?
Or did they just produce some really good trance in the earlier years? Does anyone know of any other good tilt productions aside from children, invisible, dimension?? Cause id really like to get my hands on it.
They also did Angry Skies, which is an awesome, awesome AWESOME tune. I'm not sure what you would consider it (trance or progressive) but Oakenfold played it in his China and Liverpool Essential Mixes from 99 and I remember Sasha playing it somewhere (his NYE 1999 mix maybe?).
They also did a remix of Space Manoeuvres - Stage One called Space Manoeuvres - Stage One (Tilt's Apollo 11 Mix) which is a great tune as well.
They're both great tunes, check them out!
And BTW, have you seen any more live stuff by them floating around? I've only seen two Ess Mixes and that's it.
nah havent seen much live stuff.
I just cant get over how great their sound was. Invisible is my favourite song

yeah i know. Im listening to @ home in ibiza right now
OMG.........how did you forget the greatest song they redid.
TILT-CHILDREN (TILT's COURTYARD MIX)......brillant in my mind.
Tilt - I dream
one of my fav songs of all time!!!!!!!
Check this unofficial Tilt discography for Tilt & Quivver related releases..
Tilt's sound has only IMPROVED into the deeper, darker, and very progressive genre. Tilt has always been ahead of their time in their productions and IMO are only getting better! Their latest one, 'HEADSTRONG' is a masterpiece!

Tilt and Paul Van Dyk - Rendevous and TIlt - Invisible are still my favourite Tilt productions. CHilren was really good too, but Robert MIles should take the cake for making the track in the first place.
Tilt have broken up from what they were. They were parks and wilson and john graham(quivver). John graham left about a year ago and since then their prog trance sound has faded. They do dark progressive house now. They describe themselves as a dark journey. I suggest you check out:-
The dark science E.P Hooj Choons
Places - 3 n 1 remix.
But parks and wilson's recent essential mix was horrible tho, pathetic and booooooooooooooring.
"...HORRIBLE AND BORING..."
come on man, not even close to boring... I suggest you keep listening to your pulsedriver and airscape since your ears have not advanced to the deep, dark, rich style of Parks and Wilson!

I didnt think it was boring, i actually liked it, i guess i feel the same about some progressive. YOu just have to be in the mood for it. Miss the old Tilt.
yeah I Dream is prolly the best Tilt song ever, even tho it was never really really popular/

you guys heard Mick Wilson's latest production?? It called Ice cream Social - Woven Air , and its out on Pitch Black. Wicked track if you are into the Dark prog House stuff. And i like tilt the way they are now. It just goes to show how versatile these guys are going from trance anthem to the unique undergroud sound that i crave deeply.
