Rasta Sorry, My mistake about the Jimpy track...

My apologies to those very snappy people that had a pop at me in the previous thread. One of the versions of the Jimpy 'Feelin Good' track was made available previously on edm digital, so yes you are correct. The other version on tunetribe.com was until now unreleased.

The original version, which is also to be made available on TuneTribe in the next few days was used as the basis for the track used on the PVD Politics of Dancing mix album. PVD tweaked it a bit.

Jimpy kindly set me straight on the facts last night. I'm not sure why some of you have to be fiery at someone making a genuine mistake, I thought people into trance were happy people....??

Take it easy.

Which track ripped off the other????

Jimpy - Feelin Good
Sundance - Won't let this feeling go (Commie remix)

Or did PVD use an acapella on Politics of dancing??

Its been a while since I've put Politics of dancing on but I'm sure these two tracks share very similar sounds.

Welcome to TA.. where your not allowed to be wrong or form your own opinion without offending people
It wasn't always like that though.

TA's turned into more of an info site than discussion board for me now. I don't even know what went on in the other thread, but everytime I read this comment, I feel the need to jump in and try to rid the sour taste left in your mouth, cause I still stand by this site! Just try to have fun and don't take anything too personally

Hi, the track used on the PVD compilation was a mix of the original Jimpy 'Feelin Good' track and I believe the Commie mix came much later as Jimpy did Feelin Good about 8 yrs ago. The Sundance track was out much later than that...

Be happy, enjoy life, enjoy trance... chill, all goood.... lets all have a cuppa tea x haha

I see........... I remember there being some samples quoted in the credits for Commie remix. I think it was 'Barefoot in the head' by A man called adam. Maybe the Jimpy track sampled the same.

Anyway enjoy TA if you can, I agree on the cup of tea - got to be Yorkshire tea though

Rasta

I'm not sure... Jimps is away now for a few days so I can't ask him. All I know is it says Jimpy 'Feelin Good' on the album listing, but where the original sample came from I don't know. I'm just the office girly that sits about drinking tea and doing promotional stuff...

The tracks are also now on Juno.co.uk, including the original version

Have a lovely day... S x
