Here's something i found about him:
Compared to his cohorts in the new wave of French dance music, Dimitri from Paris looks much farther afield for his influences. While both Air and Daft Punk make much of their affection for the music of the 1970s (prog and disco, respectively), Monsieur Dimitri's inspiration comes from the Continental jet-setting faux-jazz of the 1950s and early '60s (exemplified by Dick Lyman, John Barry and Martin Denny), though the whole is updated by his long years of experience as a house DJ. Based in France though he is of Turkish extraction, Dimitri entered the dance-music community during the mid-'80s by DJing at the French Radio 7. By 1990, his reputation had allowed him to record soundtracks for fashion barons like Chanel, Lagerfeld and Gaultier. He released two solo EPs during 1993-94, plus the mini-LP Esquisses, and contributed to the Yellow Productions compilation La Yellow 357. He also remixed hundreds of artists, including Bjrk, the Brand New Heavies, New Order, James Brown and Etienne Daho. Dimitri's debut album, Sacre Bleu, appeared in late 1996, also on Yellow Productions. Named Album of the Year by MixMag, it sold several hundred thousand copies around the world, and finally received an American release in early 1998. The 1997 mix album Monsieur Dimitri's De-Luxe House of Funk, however, showed the Frenchman coming back to his house roots. ICU Session Three followed in 1999.

I never heard some remix or a mix-cd of him.

cheers
He did a compilation from the playboy mansion.......brillant!.
Dimitri from Paris is really from Paris and he spins the horniest music.
Check out his latest cd--> After the playboy mansion. I did see him one time in the Fuse in Brussels. It was packed, but he played a very nice 6h set!!!!
If u have the chance to go and see him, do it and take a girl with you. It's the perfect combination. DfP, one guy, one girl and just dance all night, and then... well that's up 2 u
GREETZzz... Dj CaBaL

well i think dimitri should be known for his beutiful set : ICU Session 3. So many awesome trance tunes on this one...including art of trance - madagascar, orn - snow, and phaser - controlled. Check it out!
yeah, he's a bit different..
I like 'playboy' too
he's coming to T.O. March 28th! (: That will be an interesting party
I looovvee the smoothe sexy house of Dimitri. Quality stuff, you should check out Francois K's new Deep&Sexy cd, i just bought on import and it's just amazing. He's this 50 year old dude who used to produce for Depeche Mode and The Cure back in their hay-day and he's still bangin. Dimitri's Playboy Mansion CD and Francois K's Deep&Sexy CD are the kinda CD's that you'll pull out in 30 years and it'll still sound good
