TIESTO.... CONFIRMED (New Date - Dec 14) [ALL AGES]

I just got confirmation for TIESTO in Tijuana.
I got it from two sources... One being a friend from TJ, and the other from Tiesto's management.
I know a lot of you have been emailing me for info, and since this will be a HUGE Turnout and several of us have to make plans for the travel, I emailed Tiesto's management and some friends in Tijuana. They both got back to me and confirmed it. Woohooo
On the downside...
TIESTO EN TIJUANA has been moved moved to THURSDAY, DECEMBER 14, 2006 at a new location... MEXITLAN. That's just a stroll from the border. And good news for many of you, this is ALL AGES. Mexico's legal drinking age is 18!!!!

hmmm, I wonder where will he be on December 15th? He has to be somewhere near... THE US or MEXICO!!! I hope he's near Los Angeles! hahaha, but that's just my guess, it's not official.
sweet, i was hoping seeing him on the race track, but that other venue mexitlan should do, sandra collins was there 2 weeks ago and it was sick!!!, the place holds 5000 ppl, and a very good parking, cant wait!!!!

Oh wait! Thursday Dec 14! That's even better for me! Being on that date makes it more a FOR SURE mini road trip for me! weeeeeee!

There is a paypal link to purchase tickets. I saw the link on the promoters myspace page. I just have never bought tickets like that before so ??? (In Mexico???)
She also named a couple ticket sellers in the SD and TJ areas. She said the venue holds 25k so don't think selling out is an option.
Havn't figured out what VIP gets you. Think our crew will be about 10 heads and counting...
If anyone wants to do a TA, US meet-up and walk across the boarder together lemme know.

It is outdoors (we're gonna freeze) I hear its a big venue right across the border. The person on this myspace page has been very friendly and helpful. The paypal link to buy tickets is on there also.
She said the party will go til 6 or 7 AM. VIP includes heaters and tables (dunno about alcohol).
I wonder what time Tiesto goes on. My group may be around 10 people.
Lemme know if anyone knows of any decent places to stay close to the border. If it ends at 7...we can probably just check in on Friday...I'll prolly just spend the weekend in SD.

Hard tickets are available now in diferent places here in baja, the venue is outdoors and it holds 7000ppl or so, i dont think there will be a problem buying them the same day.

I could point you toward a decent hotel, but do you want it in walking distance of the boarder? If you're staying down here you want to be North of Chula Vista. I went to see Sandra Collins here and it's totally walking distance so I'm parking my car state side at the boarder and walking accross, I recomend the same to everyone else going as it's really close proximity and driving down there is risky business.
So you know of a hotel walking distance from the border? Or isn't there a trolly that goes all the way down? Does that run 24/7?
Guess everything will come together last minute hopefully.

On a Thursday the trolley will stop running at midnight but will start up again a little after seven the next morning. There are hotels in San Ysidro in what I consider walking distance, but depending on the demographics of your group you might disagree. There are several motels not far past the final trolley stop that won't be full...
