Places that remind you of Trance, Trance that reminds you of places
Whenever I'm hiking along a huge ridge on a hot day I always think of Space Frog- Follow Me (Derb Remix) for some reason. When it's cold out and I'm alone by water, I think of XTAL by Aphex twin, or on a cloudy day I think of Blank & Jones- Perfect Silence (E-Craigs 212 Remix).
tunes from 1999-2001 remind me of summer (fields and long roads etc) and loveparade
Walking through the nightlife of Blackpool make me think of Energy 52 - Cafe Del Mar ( Kenny Hayes Remix )

Kansai - Remember This Night (Hemstock & Jennings Remix) reminds me of the german autobahn at night.
PVD and 303 infinity tracks remind me of winter on long island in 2000-2001. I always envision the snow falling and bright white snow evrywhere.

Mark Otten - So Serene reminds me of driving around in my car to and from school in the Winter and seeing the snow on the trees. Kris O'Neil's "Snowflakes (Allende Remix)" does this as well, obviously.
Kalafut & Fygle - 3579 KM reminds me of the night time...looking up at the stars sitting around near the bay with a crystal clear night sky.
Anywhere out in the nice hot summer sun reminds me of Oakies Creamfields EM in 1999 or Dayvan Cowboy by Boards of Canada.
Snow falling in the city reminds me of the song Snowflower by Ooze (this is chillout).
The road back from snowboarding reminds me of As the Rush comes by Motorcycle because we always listen to that on the way back.

Years ago I grabbed my discman and one of my brother's CD's which was Magik 7 and went for a walk around Flemington in Melbourne, ended up sittign under the flemington bridge (which is massive) and just relaxed.
when I'm surfing Chicane - Saltwater and Hybrid - Finished Symphony comes to my mind and when i'm listening this two tracks, surf comes to my mind

i have a lot of songs that give me party flashbacks... off the top of my head i couldnt name them all but a lot of tracks bring me back to really great parties i've heard them live at

I went on vacation there and stayed at this amazing hotel called the Las Rosas Hotel & Spa and I had my headphones on and was standing on those large rocks at the edge of the picture that have the ocean surrounding them. And the absolute most perfect song to fit the feeling of the air, the scent of the ocean, and the glow of the sun was Infusion - Legacy (Junkie XL Remix)
liquid - orlando dawn (space brothers remix) reminds me partying when i was 17 sitting watching the sun come up in spring time on a saturday night/sunday morning.

When I was in high school there was a school trip to New York for a week. I had an mp3 player but it only had a few MP3s on it (mostly filled up with videos), basically just Blank and Jones - Mix Vol. 2. Both CDs.
We stayed in New Jersey but took a bus into Manhattan each morning (ended up being a lot cheaper). Plus, whenever we were going from place to place we would take the bus. Combine this with little sleep every morning (sometimes none) and the morning bus rides were very quiet. I listened to those two CDs a whoooole bunch!
It gets trashed a bit here, but whenever I hear the opening few seconds of As The Rush Comes, I feel what it was like on that trip

Rapid Eye - Circa Forever (Iberia Mainroom Mix) (Has to be this mix)
A planet similiar to Arrakis, except the sky is like the one in Dark Aether: A purple- and red-coloured scorched sky, where you can really see the contours of the clouds and it's just... beautiful!
Nothing really happens though, it's just me... standing there, in the desert.
