Worst Mash-ups ever...

Mark Tabernner once subjected me to a mashup of Susanne Vega - Tom's Diner and 50 Cent - In Da Club, while opening for Sasha in LA. Why anyone would choose to combine these two is beyond my comprehension.

Marco V vs Rank 1 - Beats At Atlanta (Bootleg Mix)

if bootlegs count. i thought this was terrible but thats probably a good reason why it was never released.

I fkn cannot stand that song... which is why it also qualifies as wrost vocal to be put on a trance tune.

Tiesto - Suburban Train vs. Armin van Buuren - Yet Another Day

Whoever's responsible for that needs to be shot for killing a classic. Horrific vocals.

Are you saying that Yet Another Day has bad vocals?

That's one of the best vocal tracks ever!

Fair enough. Each to their own

Do you specifically hate the lyrics, or the actual voice of the singer though?

take it how you will

I'd probably drop it in a set though if I felt like taking the piss.

i'm not really a fan of mashups to begin with. i'd rather see two seperate tracks.

Posted by bas on Nov-16-2006 02:37:

All of these are pretty much the worst I've ever heard, especially the Prince/Josh Wink one

Richard Durand Vs. Cassandra Fox - Hump Me In The Morning

What were they thinking

mixing should be somewhat about mashups. Without mashups, mixing is more like aggrandized jukeboxing. I'm thinking more along the lines of djs should always think about mashing up tracks if they can live and they think it will sound decent. Keeps things interesting.
