hey guys,

this is my first remix ever.. its still a work in progress, some fx are misplaced in the tune but i will fix that in the new version. Takkra the man himself hasnt got the full version of this tune. he once posted a sample of the tune here on TA and never finished it.. i quite liked it so i asked him if i could remix the tune.. so here's the result.
its nothing serious, just something for fun! feedback would be nice!

think it is a rip off of laurent garniers track.

i like the original laurent garnier meldoy and synth choice this one kind of freaks me out.

nice kick good low end on it

why does the bass only play in certain areas?

would have liked to hear it around 1:50 onwards.

very mix though and some parts well thought out the melody just didnt do it for me.

good job though bidor but you still have to stop sampling and start using midi

I worked really hard on the melody with SaxLAB !!!!

(laurent garnier trackname was ripped of though hahaha because I also visualized a man blowing his lungs out on a saxophone)

now alright, the listen!

28 downloads and only one review... that doesnt seem right.
speedyshare isnt to speedy anymore haha..

It's a little fast which is mainly because of the delay I think, turn it down a little, that would help keeping the groove .
nice chords you came up with !!! clear percussions!
your synth sounds more trancy than I imagined !!
the fx are placed very well, although I think the sax sample isnt "on spot".. luister maar es naar mijn versie, met de kick eronder klinkt het toch iets anders.. maar mss wilde je dat wel !

i did not say you said it was bad. and critisism is the fun part of producing.. you learn alot.

[0.15]bassline kicks in. real upfront
[0.30]kicks in
[0.55]climax with fullon sax and nice lead too
[1.09]kicks back in. nice mellow lead
[1.37]nice break with nice warm lead 8)
[1.52]kicks in with lead. sounds nice
[2.20]nice phazer fx. fits nicely
[2.28]nice sax again
[3.00]bassline kicks in nicely
[3.12]nice addon to end
[3.37]ends

8) nice track i enjoyed listening. theres quite a bit going on
with the sax and nice lead by the way.

cool bass, percussions and stuff.. i like how they`re panned. the sax is really disturbing. some cool clicky effects you got there.

the lead halfway through i really like.. reminds me of some Kamaya Painters stuff in some way.

with the sax and all.. orginal piece.. and it was fun to listen to.

nice deep kick
sounds good a high volume.
think the percs lack a tad. seems like a few synths, a kick, and panning hats. wheres the percs?
panning is a nice touch by the way.
lik'n this flang'n part. and i really like the sax melody. really tripped out.
the track all around still sound to raw, probably the lack of percs plays a large part.

lol. there is that filthy sax!

nice drive. the track has a clubby feel. maybe use a heavey kick?

percs and mixdown are upfront .. a little dirty in places, but it jumps at you nicely.

you introduce the sax a second time and it doesnt work. its panned hard to one side and sounds messy. also it is not synced. - you need to timestretch it.. it sounds about 3bpm out


other than the problems i mention i think it has potential. nice drive.
