Web Developer/Programmer

Canada�s largest publisher of trade magazines and directories, is seeking an individual for the position of Web Developer/Programmer. The Web Development Team is currently comprised of 15 developers, programmers, and graphics people. Reporting to the Internet Project Manager, the successful applicant�s primary responsibility will be web programming with additional support of existing VB and CD-ROM applications.

Duties will include:
� Programming web applications
� Support and maintenance of existing code
� Maintenance and support of Visual Basic applications
� Building and support of Folio Infobases

Required Skills:
� Proficient with HTML and CSS
� Demonstrated programming knowledge of ASP, VBScript, JavaScript, Visual Basic 6 and .NET
� Working knowledge of Relational Databases (MS SQL/Oracle)
� Some knowledge of MS FrontPage and/or Visual Studio preferred
� Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a demanding environment with multiple and changing priorities.
� Strong problem solving abilities
� Excellent communication skills
� Comfortable working in a team environment and able to work confidently in an independent capacity
� Strong desire to learn and develop skills
� Ability to learn quickly
� Attention to detail and dedication to quality work
