Stanley's Cup

Damn, thats the most f'ed up episode of South Park yet. It even beats 501 - Scott Tenorman must die.

And OMG, the Steve Irwin references, too harsh imo. Yet, thats probably the only thing i giggled at :/

SP - 1014 on Daily Motion

Almost made me cry

I got tears in my eyes.

I love SP, but goddamn, I almost cried.

Posted by Arbiter on Nov-16-2006 07:52:

It was ok. Not great though, it really could have used a secondary plot.

Posted by Halcyon+On+On on Nov-16-2006 08:23:

haha, that was brutal

Another mediocre episode.

The ending was fucking awful.

They made TWO steve irwin jokes.

I think the second one went along the lines of this:

Stan - "don't worry cancer doesn't kill anybody"

Cancer kid - "That's what steve irwin said about the stingrays!"

And they made a steve irwin joke on the Super sweet 16 party.

So that makes 3, as far as I know.

that was awful lol

It was good to see matt and trey contradict the stereotypical hollywood sports movie happy ending where the underdog always wins and show what probably would have happened if those events took place for real. Probably a bit more brutally than they should have but still the ending was a fresh change.

I think the ep was kinda medicore

Posted by bas on Nov-16-2006 20:15:

The ending was the only part I thought was funny, that and the guy with the record player that kept sounding like a movie trailer.

Posted by medinaM5 on Nov-16-2006 20:17:

i just think it needed some cartman. They could have made him coach of the opposition team or something.

Posted by itsamemario on Nov-16-2006 20:52:

yeah, where was cartman??

Randy: Your mother's been worried sick, and I've been watching TV!

That was probably the only funny thing in the episode. And the Steve Irwin jokes. I'm sorry but I laughed at them.

Posted by pvdAngel on Nov-19-2006 15:42:

Dang, what an episode.

The only thing even remotely funny in this episode were the Steve Irwin jokes.

Http://allsp.com has the links to every SP ever made and every new SP a night or two after they are on tv. I would suggest you go there if you want to re-watch any of your favorite shows from the past.

I think its just one of those completely random episodes they tend to throw in every now and then. It was kinda average for the most part, but I thought the whole part with the Red Wings going to town on the pee-wee team was hillarious. I nearly fell out of my seat when the red wings guy skated the mini-kyle in the face.
