-- after party tunes..
after party tunes..
preferably with female vocals..
U know those tunes, 4-5 in the morning and ur driving back home after a crazy night and the last thing u wanna hear is a thumbing 4x4 beat.
stuff like
everything but the girl- single
faithless - crazy english summer
Telepopmusik stuff..etc etc
I'm really looking for those little known tunes that no one has heard before..
for example look up this tune Sarah Khider- Mermaid Song. Its freaking soothing..
i tend to listen some brian eno actually after night out.
maybe some imogen heap would do the trick?
Govinda, Supreme Beings of Leisure, I'm Not a Gun, Varano, Lux, Karma, New Delhi FM, Mum...

Ambient Generation - Alone
Thievery Corporation, Bliss, Zero 7, Dido, Sleepthief, Delerium, Goldfrapp, Moloko, Portishead, Saint Etienne
Booker T and the MG's * Baby Scratch My Back (is quality....)
Thievery Corporation * Lebanese Blonde
Bird York - In The Deep (I Don't know much else of her stuff but this is so chilled out)
Aya, Blue Six, Boards of Canada, Lemon Jelly (older stuff), Lemongrass, Sneaker Pimps
Billy Ray Martin - Honey (Chicane rmx)
solarstone afterours chillout mix
especially "southern sun".. that track is sex
most of the time i'm too drunk to listen to music after a party

but i think Chicane is very good to 'cool down'.
Several artists I'd recommend have already been suggested in here, but to reiterate:
-Boards of Canada
-Thievery Corporation
-Zero 7
-Massive Attack
pretty much anything ambient or trip-hop does it for me.
and since I love ambient, dubby, breaky, ethnic shit I gotta throw Banco De Gaia out there.
And Moby because I'm a shameless Moby whore.
...and Sasha & Digweed's Northern Exposure: East Coast & Holden's Balance 005 ![]()
Chicane
Boards of Canada
Ulrich Schnauss
BT's new album
Reflekt feat. Delline Bass - Need To Feel Loved (That housey remix)
my favourite "chillout" set to drive home to is the deep dish EM for i think... 2001 or 2002
where pete tong introduces it "roll up, roll up it's that witching hour again with me pete tong"
suberb, deep house at it's finest
