Following up on the very fun night I spun with Tyler Michaud @ VENU, I have the pleasure of spinning with another young up and coming dj in Max Thomson on December 30th. We will be spinning different forms of HOUSE music all night long in the White Room. I'd like to thank everyone who came out last time and hope to see new faces this round

Max Thomson -
"Raised in Boston on a steady diet of alternative rock and underground hip-hop, Max has found his calling at a young age. At 13, he first heard the sounds of electronic dance music, courtesy of the legendary digitally imported radio. Within a week, he had the software, but didn't have the ear. After learning the ropes with Traktor digital DJ, Max soon graduated to his first pair of decks. Using a mixer with no EQs and a steep crossfader scratch curve, Max learned the art of the quick mix, the clean mix, and the dirty mix - the hard way. Over the next 3 years, Max would push his sounds further into the eardrums of Boston natives, playing at Vertigo Boston, as well as I/D on Landsdowne St (a part of the world renowned Avalon Boston). Around this time Max also began promoting for Avalon, putting in his work and paying dues, his work ethic propelling him forward. Hosting a radio show, playing gigs, and working at Satellite Records as a progressive buyer has been a full time job for a kid still in high school. Always prepared for the next level, Max has relocated to Chicago and is attending Columbia College to build on his production knowledge in hopes of producing records and dj'ing professionally. Max is also an active music journalist for iVibes.nu and his considerable promotion skills recently landed him the position of publicist for Morrison Recordings. More music on www.djmaxthomson.com"

Sweeeeeeet, I can't wait. You rocked venu hard last time, Patrick. I hope you get to spin for longer this time.
Earlier today, I was actually listening to Max's set with Dres Live @ Vertigo from 2005 and it still is one of my favorites so it will definitely be a pleasure to have an opportunity to spin with him myself
