Does anyone know if Zanta has been banned from this parade too?

He was just banned from using the TTC this week too.

He had better not be banned from the parade. What will the parade be without the main attraction?

lol... poor zanta

Did anybody here actually watch AND enjoy the parade as a kid?

I thought it was most boring thing ever, and knew that my afternoon of tv watching was ruined. At that point I usually picked up my hockey stick and left the house for a few hours.

I figured i better sign into my own account... any way i used to be in the sanata claus parade... i think its good for ages 10 and below.... its always a sight to see if you are right there... and who can go wrong with candy..!

I have always wondered who that guy was. I haven't seen him for a long time (I live off Avenue Rd.) Is his story (wikipedia) real?

lol this guy is awesome.

So much for freedom of speech!

Seriously so the guy acts a bit different from the average (boring) torontonian and he gets banned? Thats just fucking sad. No wonder our city is so boring. How can you ban someone for doing nothing illegal? Isnt citytv's window looking out to a PUBLIC SIDEWALK? If they dont want the likes of ZANTA or others looking in on shot maybe they shouldnt be pointing the camera that way? Perhaps they should stay in the parking lot ON PRIVATE PROPERTY instead of using a public space?

This country is something else....

very very very very sad

My friend did a documentary on him last year, almost got herself arrested by being with him when he "acted up"....fuck this city is ridiculous.

what was he doing?

Was it anything illegal? I doubt it.

Im willing to bet hes a sociologist or a reporter doing an experiment to make a point about society. It will be interesting if thats the case.

+1

I watched many of his videos and he seems to be doing nothing wrong at all. His only crime is perhaps putting a smile on someone's face. Toronto will probably ban smiling soon too at the rate they are going.
