that every 34th minute of every set thye most amazing tunes are played....i have just noticed this....every set i have the 34th min song is just sooooooooooooooooooo crazy i love

Posted by nimrod levi on Mar-21-2002 20:08:

based on what livesets??

Posted by Vivid Boy on Mar-21-2002 20:28:

dude every set i have...lol....from pvd to tiesto to oakie to blank & Jones to even cds i have ripped....the 34th min song is always the best in my opinion i dunno its wierd but i just figured this out today....PVD live @ Home in London is one for example Oakie hyoerstate'99 umm white label euphoria cd 1....PvD live @rosenmontagsrave these are just a few....but every set i have the 34th minute is just amazing...

Maybe most songs from all those sets are good and by probability, it makes sense that during some time period, all of them will have a good song... just a thought.

Ok actually, i take it back, i found 2 out of 10 with a great 34th min track, the second being Tiesto TE2000 with Arrakis - The Spice

Arrakis - The Spice... great tune but not the best from the set
tiesto played some better tunes than that!!
Airwave
Millenium Stringz
Destination Sunshine
And more.......

How so?

Posted by Jah on Mar-22-2002 02:35:

maybe cause a set is say 70 mins long on average (?) i think thats a fair comment and around 34 mins is like half way and therefore the peak of the set
BOOHA GENIUS!!!

Posted by Vivid Boy on Mar-22-2002 03:41:

jah straight up i was thinking the same thing...but i guess its only for me because i seem to enjoy most 34 min sets but maybe someone else would hate that song...i guess im just a 34 type of guy

face it- you smoke far too much pot and you convinced yourself that your little theory is a good one. if you listened to yourself(or read in this case) youd see what an idiot you are! ok just kidding- but not about the pot. drugs are bad ok? late/

and no...i havent been able to back up your claim. you are right bout rosenmontags...

LOL no offense that's the most absurd theory I've ever heard. The fact that's it's halfway through a set might have something to do with it..

Posted by Rostros on Mar-22-2002 12:33:

hello vivid mate.

in the answer to your question , good dj's , have a structure when there mixing , they start off with a general choon , then to get the crowd worked up they start building up very slowly , these build up tunes are usually the best , then they kick it in with some harder shit

Posted by tu_face on Mar-22-2002 15:02:

the theory is incorrect for jules sets...

Posted by Vivid Boy on Mar-22-2002 18:00:
