DarkAngel - Saturday Morning Sessions EXPRESS! Demo Mix
Hi, all. I made this mix this morning, and, as the name implies, it's an express mix (hotmix).
Tracklist is as follows....Track #1 is especially for Carlos (nfkted)
1. U2 - Where the streets have no name (NU NRG remix)
2. Second Sun - Love Simulator (Original mix)
3. Sensation 2003 - The Anthem (Original mix)
4. NU NRG - Last Experience (Giuseppe Ottaviani remix)
5. Noemi - Y.O.U. (Mezziah mix)
Keep in mind that I'm still new to this, my PCDJ program does NOT have EQs and I'm doing it for fun, but reviews, critiques, whether they be positive or negative are welcome & appreciated. Tips to play some house in my sets need NOT apply.

Tracklist looks good. In the processing of DLing it now. NU NRG productions, good choice IMO. Probably listen to it tomorrow because I am leaving to Space in a couple of minutes.

lucky bastard. i've spend the last 2-3 days downloading music and trying to burn music so i can practice with something other than the same 10 tracks i've been using for a week
hey DA, I saw Acid Pro on sale at BEst buy for like 70 bux, why dont you practice on that? when i first got into trance and wanted to dj, i checked out a program called mixmeister that helps sequence, beatmatch, and add effects to your mixes. if you sit down and actually get into using the program, you will find that some of them work realllly well
if you'd like ill dig up an old cd of mine so you can hear what i mean.
-C
ps- congrats on the mix
any marathon sets expected in the future?

is this. Inapplicable to my needs.
nice tl's DA! that's the most important part(in an over simplified way
) just keep on practicing for what will seem like billions of hours and the rest will take care of itself
My review is pretty pointless since the previous posts speak for themselves, but I had this .doc review file saved on my pc with your name on it. Ok here it is:
Your beatmatching needs to improve. I didn't hear one good transition. The flow was non-existant and if it was me mixing this set with only these tracks, I'd mix them in this order instead.
1. U2 - Where the streets have no name (NU NRG remix)
3. Sensation 2003 - The Anthem (Original mix)
5. Noemi - Y.O.U. (Mezziah mix)
2. Second Sun - Love Simulator (Original mix)
4. NU NRG - Last Experience (Giuseppe Ottaviani remix)
Tracks 5 and 2 play off each other nicely since they sound similar in dynamic. 1 and 3 you could use as your opener. I love how the U2 tracks starts. You grab people's attention instantly with that driving synth. The track selection needs more work. Other than that keep practicing Raul. I know you'll get the hang of it meng.
