Make sure to make a hyper link next time so people can get to your mix faster!

Anywho, I will give this a listen in the next day or so and let you know what I think. I've never posted a set up here either and I'd like to change that this week, so yeah! Nice TL

Hey, I just posted my first set earlier this week too, but mine was done last April, so I think I've got enough experience to give you a solid review, but to be fair you can review mine if you want, too.

Your beatmatching is right on, but sometimes the first track will end and the second track sounds quiet, maybe because you need to drop the volume of the first track a little more, or raise the second track's volume a little more? I'd try different ways of fading out the mid/low/highs if you've got that capability on your mixer too. I prefer most of the time to mix my new track in at about 80% volume with the bass killed, then push it to 100% volume while I'm dropping the previous to 80% volume. Then I switch the basses. But it all depends on the track.

Your first transition I really like is between tracks 6 and 7. Tracks 1-5 are solid tracks, but they all sound so similar that the first part of your set feels boring to me, even though Exactly is a fantastic song. Something I'm still working on is making my set feel like a story. It's important for transitions to be smooth, but there needs to be a definite change in the feel of the set as it progresses. Your second half of the set is much better in this respect.

Overall, its a nice trance set, but it feels like something is missing. Keep hittin' the decks and I'm sure you'll figure it out!

Hey Mr Elliot, Hows trix m8....Love yer new mix m8. The tunes are well up to date and the beat matching is cool. I woukld agree with the previous post and say that the levels are a bit out, but m8...Thats not really a big problem is it.

Absolutely loving Team SR...Leaving London T4L mix and pretty much anything by Sean Tyas right now is just pure production genius....

Great work m8 9/10.....You will get full marks once you sort those levels...lol

Hey dude, am not too bad. Tryin to keep up to date wi the tunes. Spent a shit load in the past few months. Much easier on the cd decks tho. I'm loving sean tyas's stuff at the moment aswel. I only seem to be buyin uplifting trance at the moment, not much else which is a pity coz i'd like to broaden my collection wi other stuff aswel. I'm not too clued up on usin the bass, mid and treble controls.
Al be gettin another mix up here shortly, when i get around to makin one that is. lol

Yeh...Scone emailed me and told me it was your first posted mix, so I thought I would have a wee gander, as you do. When using the Bass, Mid and Treble, the best thing to do m8 is set all the frequencys to zero(flat range) When mixing your next tune in, make sure you have the bass knob at about 9 oclock on the panel....when you have the fader right at the top and the 2 tunes are playing away together nicely, start moving the bass knob back up to zero(12 oclock) and start moving the previous tunes bass knob down to 9 oclock. Just move them at the same time equally. At the top end of the scale your treble can be used on the tune that is about to end, by just lowering the treble a bit before the next tune is fully in. Always remember to put the treble back to zero for the next mix though. Also... All tunes are different in volume so you will have to play with the gains on your mixer too. If your mixer is a good one, you will be able to check both tune levels by looking at the L.E.D Db meter. When they are both peaking at the same point your levels should be very close. However, your ears are the best tool for this job ;-)

Hope that makes sence m8
