+1
there's a reason why he's been the saturday night main room resident dj at the largest club in toronto for over 10 years.

for all of you....

The last time I heard him spin a great set was his classic set last year...or when he tries to upstage a dj...

This is my own opinion...perhaps you all should stop taking le drugs and have a real listen as to what he is spinning...

pretty good when comparing him to who???? I can give you atleast 100 other dj's that are alot better than him...

And the reason why The guv is the best club in toronto is the fact that no one has the $ or balls to upstage charles....If you want to go pound for pound on events...look at some events that holland holds and compare them to ours...

No the main reason is the lack of options...I can guarantee if there was more options he would be working out of another club...If he was so great as you claim then why did he get canned from the so many places he used to work...Ie: lime light...money..etc, oh yes but he is still good (sarcasm)

the music scene is different in europe then it is here....while we have huge rock concerts and such....so does europe...except since its mostly all euro trance...etc.....thats why they have huge events with huge dj's...we still have labour..decdance...and every guv aniv/ultra spin

yes but all these events are recycled dj's....try getitng some new blood on the decks...

new music comes out...=different tracklists...plus dj talents and such...whats wrong...theres only so many djs out there..and its by popular demand

ever the more reason to book someone new...and there are more djs out there than you think..IE: look at SVD...How long has he been a dj for...and how long did it take for someone to book him in Toronto...Same with Eddie Halliwell...Its the matter of taking chances, not a popularity contest...

Ill give you another dj just to simplify things for you...Menno de Jong...Very popular but no one wants to book him...

yeah hes been through different aliases tho....so....he been sander van doorn..lot of good productions....they booked svd..not purple haze or sam sharp

its the same person neverthe less...do you mean to tell me that Armin van buurens aliases are not armin doing the track or spinning the set???

Same with above and beyond and their 7 or so aliases...

I think in order to have a decent edm scene here someone has to be on the ball, and personally charles or whoever does the hiring is not doing a great job at it..
