Santerna - Alpha (Original Vocal /Dub/ Vast Vision Mixes)

Yo, just a quick heads up on the new Abora release from Santerna featuring an excellent Vast Vision remix! Samples below:

Santerna - Alpha (Original Vocal Mix)

Santerna - Alpha (Vast Vision Remix)

Obviously as these are only 112kbs the production quality sounds much better on higher bit rates, so bare that in mind when listening! There's a full dub mix available too which is basically a longer version of the Vocal mix with no vocals whatsoever, so instrumental basically. Plus when it finally comes to the release I believe there will be a shorter 'radio edit' for the vocal mix.

any thoughts welcomed. Cheers. :thumbs

well what can i say great release

though the samples are really really bad quality :S, i know the original and remix sound WAY better in decent quality, but i also feel your mp3 compressor hasnt been top notch :P, i also miss the climax in the sample :P

maybe i'll re-up them at 192kbs show em off a bit more.

It sounds pretty ordinary, nothing special at all.

cheers matey.

for those that dont like the vox, the vast vision mix is instrumental, and as i say also a dub available. the original bass is wicked, sounds great at higher quality on a loud system. so listen out for it getting dropped on a dancefloor near you very soon!

Im a big fan of both artist's... Can't give any feedback though as I havn't listened. But my one thing is... "There's a full dub mix available too which is basically a longer version of the Vocal mix with no vocals whatsoever, so instrumental basically" No, then it IS an instrumental lol j/k

I will reply later with a full review

well yeh, that's true if you wanna get into technicalities. lol basically the original was made, it was an instrumental, but there was no vocal mix, so it din't exist as 'Instrumental' it just was what it was. Now, the vocal mix was made after. it will be called Original Instrumental mix. Forgive my mix up in posting quickly.

iPool? never heard of that, or used it for the label for that matter..unless your addressing that to Vast Vision? As it happens apart from the ones Vast sent out, no one has promos of these yet.

Posted by Stino on Nov-22-2006 22:21:

i have sent the remix to: armin, aly & fila and sebastian brandt...

those are the only people who should have it

Posted by Abora on Nov-23-2006 00:51:

Yep that be it for now..

hmm seems the guy that posted the thing about iPool has deleted his post, so maybe it was a mistake.

got a nice write up as well, personally i think your mix Stino isn't as formulaic as the reviewer makes it out to be. I think the sounds used and the general feel of the mix is quite unique. but hey, can't win em all!
